Perfect. Took a few tries but so easy.

First off, I have thin long hair, so I thought this would work because my hair isn’t very thick. I really wanted to like this but after rolling my hair up nice and tight in this (barely damp clean hair, no product) I slept in it for 8 hours (very uncomfortable, I got a kink in my neck), I sprayed the curls with fine mist flexible hair spray and my curls looked nice for like 30 minutes, my hair was barely wavy afterwards. So I tried again, figuring I need to leave it in longer, did the same thing again and left it for 16 hours, It looked “ok” with the scarf all tied up, not like the models they have in the advertising- I’m sure those girls had help rolling up their hair perfectly, I still didn’t care to wear my hair in public that way, but I did. After 16 hours, my curls stayed in for 1 hour and fell flat afterwards. I was very disappointed. I was left with barely there waves. If that’s what I was going for I can get nicer looking waves by braiding my hair. With my curling iron yea the heat is bad for my hair, I use a heat protectant, but my curls last me 3 days cuz my hair is thinner. Would not recommend unless there is some magic product I need to put in my hair before I roll it up. Wanted to like this but the curls don’t stay.

I left my hair up in those for 2 days straight and it never fell out! The silk also stayed for 2 days. I have thick hair so normally heatless curls dont even show up or even stay. But these curled but only lasted about 20 minutes and all went back down. But thats because my hair needs heat to actually hold any style. Very good quality and super soft and comfortable to sleep in!

Let’s be clear I didn’t get these for free, and I am not a friend of the seller.
It’s just an honest review from someone who’s purchased them out of desperation of not being able to do anything with my hair.
My hair is fine in texture but there is a lot of it, It’s just pause my shoulder and also highlighted so the less heat I use the better.
I get a blow dry every week due to needing to look polished for work.
And WOW…I used these rods on dry hair on my week off just to see if they did anything.
They gave me a bouncy blow dry look basically.
Could you sleep in them-no they are too firm.
But I’ve been putting them in for 3-5hrs a day and they give volume and a nice wave.
    The finish looks very classy.
I just need one more rod~ there are only 3 in the pack.
Honestly these are worth every penny.
I starting using the long heartless one long curling rod that goes horizontally over the head but it makes my hair overly curly like a cheap perm.
    I much prefer these rods.

    TL;DR:
    – comfortable to sleep in as a side sleeper
    – Do not recommend bothering with sleeping on; would use to prolong a blowout, for faux Betty Bangs with the Rosie the Riveter scarf, or to set a style while getting dressed/ready/doing chores
    – Can work for shoulder length hair but does not hold the volume on its own; suggest other products on shorter or heavily layered styles.
    – Takes some practice to get the rollers in securely and wrapped in the scarf.
    – Overall, neat product and I’m not mad about it. If you want the results of the lovely ladies on Instagram, I suggest starting with blown out hair with some hold product and using this to prolong the style.

For context: I have just-past-shoulder length hair with curtain bangs and barely noticeable long layers. My individual hairs are thin but I have a lot of it. Texture is straight/wavy with about 1/3 white hair so there are a few wild ones in there. I have used foam rollers, rag rollers, the foam ‘robe’ roller, and braids to add texture to my hair. I don’t regularly use heat.

I have used the jumbo size rollers, pack of three, two nights in a row.
First night was on day two hair, moistened with a spray bottle, no products. I did the rollers straight down the back and wrapped the scarf around my head. As a side sleeper, this is the first heatless curl system that I have slept comfortably in. The front roller was hanging on for dear life in the morning, the bottom roller fell right out when I removed the scarf, and the roller at the crown of my head was still pretty secure. Curls were there, as was limp, slightly oily hair that could’ve been saved with dry shampoo but I did not have any. User error entirely. From what I could tell, the curl at the tips remained all day.

Second night, freshly washed hair, slightly damp, with curl oil at the ends. I rolled the front per instructions and divided my remaining hair into two sections, rolling tightly to the back. Wrapped in scarf.
The front roller in the morning was hanging in there by a few hairs, the back was pretty secure given I had slept on them. Any part of my hair that had been maybe more damp than dry was still wet (9 hours later) and did not curl (understandable). The rest had a fresh blow out w/ curl look and I wasn’t mad about it. I finger combed my hair and then hit it with texturizing spray. It’s 5 hours later on a semi humid day (44%) and the volume has dropped out of the roots, but curl and bounce is still there.

In general, I love this product because of all the things that design benefits you in. First of all can I say whoever designed the clips at the bottom of the rollers do you please get a raise they are so amazing and so easy to use when I was ordering this. I was really worried about how it would secure in your hair, but you do not even have to worry because this one is so so easy to use. It’s kind of like a mini version of some bikinis that have the design. I’m not sure how to explain it but trust me it is so easy to use and so worth it. I find this a lot quicker to do than regular heatless curls, like the Kitsch style regular wired long thing.

Here’s some more detailed explanations of the product if you’re curious.

Size: I thought that this product would be too small and it wouldn’t be able to fit my hair, but really, it’s super perfect. I have medium thin hair so it’s not super thick but not super thin, and these rollers definitely hold all of the hair.

Texture and material: Buying this, I thought that it would be silk or satin like the kitsch heatless hair wire thing, but it’s actually a different material. It’s more like a cheaper satin velvet, but I don’t really mind because it’s enough to keep your hair protected.

Design & easyness: let me just say this is the easiest heatless hair product that I have ever used. It is so easy and it leaves pretty good results.

Scarf: I haven’t quite figured out how to use a scarf in general. The material is quite cheap, but I don’t really mind because it’s just an excess item and you can use your own scarf at home. I haven’t figured out how to actually use it when using the rods, I actually just use a regular bonnet, but I’m sure if you learn how to figure out the whole scarf think it would work perfectly fine

Results & curls: Although it doesn’t leave a perfect blow out you can actually use these rods in many different ways, so I do thank them for that. I think if you use more product like hairspray and tear benders, then you might get a better result, but I think the best result is doing a blow out forehand and using these rods to preserve your blow out more often, but don’t get me wrong you can still use this to get the desired blow out look. Do I think that it will hold better in hair types that hold curls better than others? Yes. But I think if you learn how to figure out how to use this, just like any other heatless curl products, then you will be able to get your desired look.

I never have time to do my hair. I have been using these the last couple weeks and I love them. They are comfortable to sleep in and they seem to help prevent my hair from getting greasy at night. I have thin hair and I generally have to wash it everyday. It gets greasy looking easily, especially in the morning when I get out of bed. I use overnight dry shampoo, put my hair up in the rollers and cover with the satin scarp that is included and when I let it down in the morning, I run my fingers through it and let it fall into waves. Highly recommend
