so initially the wider tooth comb, I felt like it’s gliding on my scalp. I didn’t get a good feel of combing my hair, but later I just fell in love with these combs as they are extremely good and reduced the breakage of my hair while combing, and you can use the wider comb wide teeth comb on even on wet it doesn’t damage your hair much And they have great quality and finishing

I am very happy with this purchase. I broke my old acrylic wide tooth comb and needed a new one. Decided to go with an environmentally better choice. I was very surprised by how much better this comb performed for my hair type. I have dry, wavy- curly, thick, fine, shoulder length, salt-n- pepper hair. Did I say dry? Like Sarahara desert dry that tangles and becomes a rat’s nest easily. This comb slides through my hair so easily ( I still have to be careful on the snarly ends) and does NOT create that lovely static electricity . I do not end up with a fistful of hair in the comb when I use it. It helps distribute the hair conditioners and oils. I never would have thought that something as simple as the material a comb was made from would have such a dramatic difference in the performance of an everyday hair tool.
Quality : Well made, easy to hold, and has a good weight to it. Well worth the price. It is also pretty. I am undecided if a small hole in the end if the handle so that you could hang this on the backside of a cabinet door would be an improvement or not.
Wish I made this change years ago. I highly recommend this product!

Great detangling comb on long fine hair that tends to snarl after washing and that is the reason I bought it. The comb does smell weird, not like sandalwood. I’m not sure if this comb is really sandalwood; however, hopefully, it is made from wood as it’s claimed to be. It’s sturdy and likely not to break with use.

These combs are a must for long curls. My hair is very long with type 2B curls and is prone to tangles. These combs feel more gentle than conventional plastic combs and seem to reduce static. I am very happy with their weight and finish. The wood has a subtle sandalwood fragrance that is not overpowering. I am impressed by the quality for such an affordable price.

I don’t normally review things from day one of using it, but I had to with this wooden comb set! It was exactly what I was looking for, and more. These are two decently priced but great quality wooden combs (one wide-tooth, one rat tail) that smell so good right out of the packaging (which, by the way, was horrible. For how fragile wooden combs can be, it’s odd that they put it in a thin and tacky material that makes it oh so vulnerable to it breaking, hence is why some reviewers receive broken combs, but any who!). They’re not too heavy but not too light either which makes them really comfortable to use while styling your hair. I did some research and learned that oiling wooden combs before using them will help with keeping them fresh and protected, and I think that definitely worked very well as it also gave the combs a nice sheen. As expected, using these combs to brush through my thick afro 4c hair was such a really lovely experience. No breakage, no snagging, no tugging and pulling, no ouchies, and most importantly, very little to no shed hair! It was the first time I’ve ever combed my hair where not once did it ever feel like I was combing my hair. It was so smooth and painless, what a difference from using plastic combs that are too damaging over time. I just wish that these combs came in a silk pouch or something, not only for delivery but for storage too, but that’s about really the only negative thing I can say. Totally worth the extra money and effort! 4C curly hair types, don’t be afraid to take the plunge, wooden combs are it!
