Initially putting this in my hair was weird. It almost is like a face scrub for hair, but the gritty feeling dissolves into a great lathering shampoo that definitely washed away the build up and left my hair feeling silky soft and shiny! I’m a fan!

I bought this in July 2023 and it was absolutely worth the $19! Lasted me for a year and still has some I can scoop out. Lathers amazingly. My scalp feels so nice and clean after using it! Where I work it gets really dirty so it’s nice as a weekly refresher. I don’t need to personally, but sometimes I shampoo after clarifying so there’s more moisture. Imo that depends on your hair type. Definitely will continue to buy as long as they keep making this!

I bought this to try after Sephora discontinued their brand of scalp scrub with apple cider vinegar, and actually like this better.
First plus is that it doesn’t smell like apple cider vinegar haha. The granules of salt or whatever are smaller and I can actually feel the scrubbiness on my scalp better. Good suds, makes my hair squeaky clean after a couple days of product build up. For my very long hair I only needed a quarter sized amount. This tub is gonna last me awhile but I will repurchase whenever it runs out.

I was in the market for a product that would get rid of the nasty buildup I accumulated from oiling my scalp a while back. Even when double shampooing, it felt like my hair wouldn’t stay clean for as long as it used to and it just felt bleh. I found this and purchased immediately!
I got the original scent and it smells wonderful. The texture is somewhat gritty. It lathers very well, more than my liquid clarifying shampoo. I applied this scalp scrub and rinsed it out before going in with my regular shampoo since I double cleanse. After one use I already feel a huge difference in how clean my scalp is. Not only that, but my hair doesn’t get frizzy at the top after drying like when I was double cleansing with just my regular shampoo! The price seems fair as I think one container will last a long time. I’m very satisfied with this product and I can’t wait to try other scents!

I love the way this products smells, and I think that it definitely has helped clean off residue from my hair, but it feels like the process of putting it on is a little clumsy. When I opened the jar, all the exfoliant was at the bottom of the bottom, so I had to stir it up really good so I wouldn’t just use the soap lotion that collects at the top. I would make sure to use a conditioner with this shampoo because it leaves your hair feeling really squeaky clean

I don’t normally write reviews but I definitely recommend getting this clarifying shampoo. It made my hair significantly softer with just one use. It clarifies my scalp really well and isn’t irritating. 10/10 recommend!
