Paul Mitchell, you never disappoint. I’ve tried other purple shampoos like Loreal, and while they’re fine and good on a budget, it’s worth paying a little more for this stuff. Love it. I’m bit-by-bit getting the black color professionally stripped through partial foils from my hair on my “journey” to going grey. My natural hair was once black, but now it’s pretty much all grey, and removing the dark dye that remains has produced all variations of brassy yellow. This shampoo REALLY tones down the yellow/orange streaks and brings out the white/silver tones – and also makes the remaining black hair have a really cool soft purple hue. I highly recommend this if you are transitioning from black hair like myself. I’m excited to see how it performs when I’m fully grey or salt&pepper!

My mother uses Paul Mitchell since the 2000s and this is the best product for non color and color gals. only Con is this will stain your shower if u have white plastic tub, just be aware and rinse directly to the drain! ❤️

I saw this purple shampoo on a Brad Mondo video. He was comparing five different purple shampoos. According to Brad this one came smack dab in the middle. Of course his number one was a very expensive purple shampoo. I forget what the second was. Then this shampoo was his 3rd. He really didn’t have a bad thing to say about it. It smells good which I agree. It was mild, yet worked good. I totally agree. For the price you can’t go wrong with this one. I have never had a bad experience with any Paul Mitchell products so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did. I use it once a week or once every two weeks. Depending on the tone your aiming for. I am TRYING to transition to my natural salt and pepper gray. This is making the tones more even. I do think I’m going to try the Jeff’s Barbershop hair oil. I’m half Portuguese so I normally have dryer wavy/curly hair. So good healthy oils go a long way with my hair texture. I appreciate that this product doesn’t completely dry out my hair like most purple shampoos have been known to do. I definitely recommend this Paul Mitchell Purple Shampoo.

Been using this for roughly a year now and can’t say enough good things about it. Originally I bought it based on the recommendation by a youtuber named Brad Mondo, he said that it was sort of the perfect middle ground, it doesn’t dye the hair but still tones out the brassiness and he was correct. You don’t need much of the product and I personally mix it with another protein rich shampoo to keep my hair strong but however you use it, i doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I got the shampoo because I dye my hair a light blonde but I think I’ll go back to mine. The color protectant with the orange Cap I think it works a lot better. The number three doesn’t foam up very much and she put a lot of soap in your hand and I have very short hair So I only gave it a number three
