I have long hair and this type of hair tie is my go-to for ponytails – they’re not too thin or too thick. The skinnier hair elastics seem to pinch my hair and I believe those cause more breakage. These have a similarly good hold as skinnier hair ties, but cause less damage to my hair.
120 pcs is a deal, and they came in several different colors. I usually prefer black but the other colors will be easier to spot around the house!

These are my favorite ponytail holders! They’re really soft and stretchy so I can do extra loops for a tighter style or less when I don’t want that ponytail “dent” in my hair. I’m a big fan of the “10 second bun” and need a super stretchy ponytail holder for that, and these work perfectly.
BeeBee –
I have fine hair that isn’t very thick, and I mostly wear my hair pulled back in either high/low pony tails or loose buns. These bands will be better for the loose buns, though they do hold a pony tail in place. I just have to wrap it four times, which is a lot easier with an elastic band. It stayed in place that way really well, though. I think my “go to” bands will still be ones that are more elastic, but I’ll get great use out of these. There are so many hair bands in this package that they will still last a good while.

I LOVE these elastic bands! They are made of nylon and look like pieces of opaque tights rolled up into a hair tie, but they are so comfortable! I can’t wear traditional rubber-based or spandex elastics much as they pull my hair, but these are very gentle. On top of it, it’s a HUGE box of elastics, practically a lifetime supply (well, maybe a couple of years, I always run through them so fast). I don’t have any complaints about hold, they stay on just fine on my fine wavy/curly hair.

These are super useful, and I use them for everything but hair. Keeping extension cords and cables bundled up for storage is probably my biggest use, but anyplace where you’d use a rubber band is good for these.
Rubber bands tend to dry out and fail quickly, while these hang in there. Even if they did dry out, they wouldn’t stick to whatever you’ve bundled, which makes them a winner for me.
They seem to be made by cutting a tube of fabric which has been woven out of “nylon polyester”. The fabric rolls up a little, so one side looks like two bands, and the other looks like one.
These are really stretchy. Placing two fingers inside one, I can easily stretch them 6 or 7 inches.
