After many years of searching, I finally found a product that works Perfectly. It does not smell so great when it first goes on, but the odor it evaporates and leaves the curls, soft and loose and with little frizz. I also use Revlon 25 to add a good smell to the hair and to provide additional conditioning to control frizz. The product holds for a full day. As with other products, it does not last overnight and the hair needs to be re-wet and the product reapplied each morning.

I love this for soft bouncy curls. If you use too much it won’t work as well. I have long thick hair and I only use a nickel size and it works perfect. I can twist my hair and air dry and it makes pretty curls

I echo others here. The product is great. The smell is awful. It is supposed to smell like “laundry”, but instead, to me, smells like overpowering industrial soap. I bought two bottles on the recommendation of NYT Wirecutter and cannot believe the smell was not mentioned. I cannot wear it because of this. Unscented or really almost any other scent and I would happily use both bottles. Instead, I am going to have to toss them.

I gave it 5 stars because my 3c/4a haired daughter uses this and it works great for creating defined curls. It smells nice, but a little perfume-ish. I have fine 2c/3a hair and it was too heavy. Not sticky. No residue. I tried Miss Jessie’s Featherweight curls instead and love it.

if you’re thinking about buying a curl cream, use this, i have 3b curls and use this with the giovanni gel, it’s so good guys. It smells like fresh laundry. if you’re not a fan on fragrances, don’t buy

This product is nice bc it doesn’t make your hair stiff. Little goes a long way. Smells nice. With my hair type, combination, my hair does the same by damp hair and a bun over night. Not worth the money for me.

This has become my everyday hair control. I have curly hair and it just improves these curls to the max!! Also the smell is amazing!! Takes away all frizz and leaves my hair looking and feeling so good!! Holds in moisture and makes my hair feel thick again!!

I was looking for something for my daughter to help define her curls without weighing it down. This takes away all the frizz and defines her curls perfectly. Her curls look amazing and her hair looks actually curly instead of a frizzy (but always beautiful) mess.

Keep in mind it does have a different scent slightly like clean laundry but i don’t dislike it! it’s just a nice clean smell. This bottle is also super huge!

I love this stuff – I just wish it wasn’t so expensive when buying from Australia! There used to be a local stockist but they don’t sell it anymore – so I guess at least I can still get it here. I find Miss Jessie’s is the only curling creme that gives me soft curls which last for days. It smells lovely and is not crunchy when dry either. My hairdresser first put me onto it but she can no longer get it for her salon (unless she buys it from Amazon).
