Now that my husband’s hair is thinning, he has been looking for a product that will thicken his hair without pulling it out. He has tried various clays, putties, pomades and powders and nothing seemed to do the trick. I found this TRENDSTARTER product and thought I would give it a shot. He says it does exactly what he wants it to do and it isn’t too rough on his hair. He finds that the more he (gently) rubs the product into his hair when dry, the more thick his hair becomes. It is a perfect dry/matte finish so he can keep the natural look he is aiming for. The medium hold is perfect because the stronger products usually pull his hair. The fragrance is also very subtle and pleasant we both really enjoy it. We also received two free samples of other TRENDSTARTER products to try out which was a fantastic surprise. Amazing product at an even better price.

Thinning hair? Here’s some easy help. I massage some Oxford Hill bentonite clay into damp hair, let it dry naturally, thoroughly comb through, use a bit of this to top off more volume. It proves to be a good value because one not need use much. In fact, use it sparingly for the best results. Great stuff.

The feel of the product is kinda tacky, so it doesn’t apply to the hair very cleanly. It clumps on strands and just seems a little heavy. Hold is not the best either. Unfortunately I bought two containers because it was on sale.

I have thinning white hair, and was looking for a water based product that wasn’t greasy, shiny, or gel-like. I researched and found “Trendsetter Thickening Fiber” which is a medium hold & matte clay pomade. It is perfect for what I wanted and washes out while showering. It keeps my hair in place and is natural looking, with a gentle scent that is not overpowering. I’m a fan.

I was excited to try this product as the title states “Thickening Fiber”. While that may be the case it did not translate to any thickening of my hair whatsoever. As other reviewers have said it has a rather strong odor. This I could live with if there was any evident thickening action. I honestly wanted it to work, but it did not.
To hold hair firmly in place I highly recommend “Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray” available here on Amazon.

I love this product. Perfect subtle smell, nice hold and great matte finish. It does make your hair feel more thick. Not sure if it actually makes your hair look more thick. At least for me it didn’t. Only complaint is that it doesn’t really have a humidity hold.
They also sent another product! Haven’t tried it yet but I am sure it is just as well
