If you are looking for a product to help give you a more defined curl or wave, this does it better than most wavy hair products I’ve used. It will leave your hair a little crunchy, once it’s dry, but you just need to scrunch it and break the cast, something I didn’t know about until recently as a part of using curly/wavy hair products.

This product is what I’ve been wanting to try out for a while, but scared to because of the price point. I didn’t want to like it because then I’d have to buy more. But it works really good. I have super fine wavy hair and it does not weight down my hair down at all. The thing I like most about it is it seems to keep its waviness for days which with wavy her hair is hard. I still do combine it with a curl cream, just to soften it a bit but it’s an amazing product

I have tried sooo many products in this space. Most are too crunchy, too soft, or ultimately pointless like the “sea salt” sprays.
This is the best I’ve used for a decent air dry look which holds some shape for more than an afternoon and completely controls frizz no matter what the humidity.
A must for my travel kit.

I liked this gel! It smells really nice, adds good definition without being crunchy almost at all. If you like a heavy gel this won’t work for you. I add this in my hair when it is soaking wet and it gives me bouncy, soft defined curls. It’s not too sticky and it can be re-set. I put it in my hair on wash day, and then I can rewet my hair a day or two later and add a little more gel and it dries just fine!

Initially I was going to return it, but tried it again later on in the week, and really like it. I have curly hair that has thinned with age, and didn’t want it weighed down. Before using it, I used a spray on conditioner, and then a very small amount of the Curlsmith product being careful not to apply it to the root area. I use a tee shirt to wrap my hair for about 5 minutes, and mainly let it air dry. Today is the second day after wash day, and there is no stickiness, and my hair looks good, which is a first. Also, Lather makes an amazing hair masque/conditioner, avocado mint repair that I used after washing. So, these 2 things made a big difference.

Meine Haare sind Lockig aber relativ dünn. Bisher habe ich noch kein Gel gehabt was meine Haare so leicht hält aber so definierte Locken zaubert. Mit der richtigen Technik kommt noch Volumen rein und mit dem richtigen Öl löst sich die Gelschicht nach dem trocknen sehr gut.
Das Gel ist sehr leicht zu verteilen und riecht angenehm.
Gehört jetzt zum festen Bestandteil meiner Locken Routine.
