I’m not talking about how they work I’m talking about the chemical smell as soon as you take them out of the package and after taking them out of your hair your hair smells like chemicals in which you need to wash your hair. I put them in my dishwasher and even all the rods went into a sock in my washing machine and the chemical smell was still there, please do not buy those I don’t know where these positive reviews are coming from but the ones I got were horrific smelling.

If you want semi tight curled, these are the curlers to buy, I wanted medium size originally but these worked, definitely use with damp hair and the result is better than wet hair, be careful when removing, the end of the curler has a bent wire that your hair will get caught on, try to stay at least an inch from each end.
