This is an excellent product. I have never used any products like this. Holds hair, makes hair shiny and styling stays in place. I love it! You do not need a lot. I prefer to use when my hair is a little damp. For the money, it is well worth it.

I will not buy this again. To preface this, I have medium hair in all ways; texture, thickness, amount, etc. Here are the….
PROS: it smells good, and it does not seem to dry out or damage hair at all. It does minimize frizz and creates shine.
CONS: it’s really, really heavy. It weighs down hair and makes my curls stringy even after scrunching. There is no amount I can use thats small enough to make it not have that effect on my hair. It might work better for coarse, thick, dense, high porosity hair. My hair is just medium, so it does not respond well to this gel. It ends up looking a little wet, and stringy even once it’s dry and has been scrunched out.
There is not NEARLY enough in this bottle to justify the price.

I have long wavy hair not really curly. I add about a half tablespoon of this to my damp hair mainly at the roots then scrunch dry or diffuse. I get AMAZING body that lasts until my next shampoo! It’s been a real game changer for me. The only negative is that if I want to brush my hair, it is a bit more difficult than normal because there is a lot of “drag” on the brush. I generally just use a pick instead of brushing. I can refresh my waves with a little water and still maintain the same root lift and fullness.I also use a hot iron around my face. I’m a big fan of this product.

I have long thick wavy hair that has a mind of its own. Have used Kenra products for a while, decided to give this a shot in place of the L’Oreal Mega Hold gel I usually use. Seems to work about the same, but without the stiffness. A lot of people have commented on the smell. Yes, it does have a bit of a chemical smell when you first squeeze it out of the tube. But the smell goes away before you can even get your hair dried. So its not a big deal. Overall I am pleased, and will purchase again.
