This crayon is easy to use. I’ve tried powder and spray as well. They all have their pro and cons. This stick is the most controllable out of the three types. The only drawback I can say is that it loses its shape since it is soft and pliable so you have to rotate the stick so that one side isn’t crooked. The color blended well with the dark brown hair color I used. I have salt and pepper hair so my hair has different shades of brown in it but it still was fine.

I had seen some reviews that talked about the stick breaking but I thought that I would be different somehow. Unfortunately, on the second swipe it broke and I was left with an inch piece in my hand. I feel like I’m using 1/2 piece of chalk. I will continue to use it, although it’s messier just to get my money’s worth out of it however. I do like the foam tip on the other end that helps to blend the color. Still disappointed though.

Covers gray better than powders or sprays, looks totally natural and will last overnight. Washes out easily. The only downside it is takes a lot of product to cover roots and only lasts for 10 to 12 uses. No other products I have used compares and I purchase this often.

I thought I was sent an empty unit. I kept turning and turning and nothing came out. 15 minutes later I found the dry colour stick part in my sink. Not very impressed ….. I never give a bad review but this left me very dissatisfied.

I used to purchase the Bumble and Bumble color stick and it was getting expensive so I tried this thinking if it didn’t work it wasn’t very expensive. But it worked just as well as the Bumble color stick and will buy it again.
