This product is amazing. My hair is super curly and sometimes tends to get a little dry so I use the smoothie as well. But the custard leave my curls defind and they stay super hydrated. custard is like a crunch less gel.

I found this product while browsing Amazon. I have tried other Mielle products, but I hadn’t seen this one before. I read the reviews and figured I’d give it a try. I don’t know what my hair type is, but I think it is a 4A or 4B. I did a wash and go with this product and it turned out FANTASTIC. I also tried it on my daughter’s hair and I know for sure she has 4C hair. It also did FANTASTIC on her hair. It did leave a white cast in our hair, however after carefully reading the instructions I tried it again on my hair and had almost no cast at all! Follow the directions. Your hair has to be soaking wet. The white cast was from using too much leave in conditioner. Make sure to use an oil as well. When I did this I had no white cast. You may have to play around to see what amounts of leave in conditioner and hair oil to use to avoid the white cast. I’m going to try it again on my daughter’s hair in a few weeks. This curl custard smells amazing and gives a good hold. You can always scrunch the curls with a bit of oil on your hands if it’s a bit crunchy. Our wash and gos lasted for a week and a half. They could have went longer had we not wanted to wash our hair We slept in silk bonnets and our hair held it’s curls perfectly for over a week! I was very nervous to use this product because I have never tried it before but it holds my girls hair. Perfect! They have type 4 curly hair so getting those little curls to stay is sometimes hard. I use it right after the leave in conditioner when their hair is still wet, and by the time they wake up in the morning, it looks like they just got their hair done
