Love this line of product feels great on my hair no itching as some others itch really bad this is natural looking ( I am blond) not sure if I’d use in darker hair unless they make one I haven’t seen a dark hair spray out but never know call and ask they might make one! I use the blind and on the days I’m in a hurry or skip a wash so hair doesn’t dry and split this is perfect! Even with a little highlight outgrowth I can spray this at roots and gives volume and hides alot of the med root color until I have time to highlight my outgrowth this stuff is amazing and I only recommend this and one other by redken! Pretty picky on my products if I don’t use it I don’t recommend products! If they’re not good I’m honest and will tell the truth! Hair stylist over 20 years and still young at heart and styling so try it hope you love it as much as I do! Remember blond hair or light light brown as it sprays white can comb through w fingers is best bet very natural and clean look!

I bought this product about two weeks ago and now nothing comes out, it oozes out! Something must be wrong with the packaging for it to stop working and have more than 1/2 left! It’s not good customer service not to replace the product.

Smells good, gives my roots body, removes excess oils. I spray it at my roots as directed, flip my hair over & massage all around. Loving it! Loving the volume.

I have fine hair so a lot of dry shampoo products are too heavy and weigh my hair down. This one does not. The product works as it should; however, the it has a strong and overpowering scent which remains on the hair for hours so I probably won’t buy it again.

For whatever reason the first can I bought was empty when I went to use it a month+ later. Amazon sent me a new can no questions asked. Went to use the new can prob a wk later and it was empty as well. It was such a quick turnover I was able to see the liquid in the lid and it ran out in my hand as I took the lid off.

If you use this product on clean hair to assist with volume, you’ll likely only buy yourself one day without washing, OR you just go a second day without spraying. In my case, I have fine hair but a lot of it. After washing and blow-drying my hair, it still doesn’t have the amount of volume I want, so I spray a little of the Amika Dry Shampoo on my roots and work it through with a bamboo bristle hairbrush (Tek), or sometimes a Mason Pearson brush for optimal distribution. With that said, this builds up quickly on the scalp, even with the (dispersal) quality of the second brush listed.
With Day Two/the second application, I can feel and start to see the build-up of product. My scalp becomes a little itchier, and with every scratch the underside of my fingernails are filled with white powder.
Often I’ll just skip the dry shampoo application for the second no-wash day, and there’s still plenty of product in my hair to keep from looking oily/dirty.
The other downside is how strongly scented really ALL of Amika’s products are. It’s normal for us to get used to our own smell, but unlike perfume where I’ll, say, sniff my wrist to see if there’s still a scent in a few hours, this dry shampoo lingers ever-present for several hours before at least _I_ can’t smell it as strongly anymore. And frankly it’s not a scent I want representing me as I walk through the world. (Lol). But in all fairness, I do have an intensely strong sense of smell, so take that aspect of my review with a “grain of salt”.
Anyhow, it does work, but I’m still on the fence over whether it’s worth it or not. Just ordered a different brand to test. The only reason I don’t go back to my old one is because it needed far more product and I ran out every 3 weeks, and it left a heavy white cast, which says a lot because I’m mostly gray at this point (and “not old” to be clear—thanks genetics and stress).
