So glad I purchased this nexus product. My hair was somewhat brassy after my recent Color. I have used many purple shampoo’s in the past and this one definitely exceeds expectations. After two washes I can definitely tell a huge difference with the brass disappearing. I will be purchasing the conditioner as well. It smells lovely and makes the hair soft. Would be my top pick for getting the brass toned down without harming the hair.

I have loved Nexxus products for many years. But just discovered “Blonde assure” and use it once a week to take away any sun discoloration from my grey/white hair. It also leaves my hair silky. I use it with the matching conditioner. Highly recommended.

This product is fantastic. I am in the process of transitioning my hair back to grey and I had very blonde highlights put in the help with the root demarcation. The highlights turned brassy with a “greenish” tint after washing my hair with hard water for a few weeks. I applied this products for three minutes the first time and then another four the day after. My highlights are now back to being very light and my hair is not dry at all. I am very impressed!

This shampoo does its job, it keeps your blonde looking bright, other than that it didn’t really benefit my hair in any way. There was no change or improvement in softness, or health of my hair. If anything I felt my hair was lacking moisture and shine after prolonged use. Smell is mild. I’ve moved on to using a better product.

Blonde hair requires the use of purple shampoo a couple times per week to avoid looking brassy & Nexus Blonde Assure protects & keeps my blonde hair looking healthy and free of any unwanted brassy or orange tones. I’m picky about my hair products and I refuse to buy anything that isn’t sulfate free and Nexus offers a quality product and it’s at a very competitive price. The bottle isn’t very big but I don’t use it daily so I think that it will last enough to justify the $20 price tag. The scent is great and I this shampoo definitely leaves my hair looking very shiny and clean. Nexxus just out performs others. Some purple shampoos have left my hair very dry & brittle but this one leaves my hair feeling very soft. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Okay, so I lighten my hair but after awhile it can start to turn dull or brassy. Since purple is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel it can have a neutralizing effect and tone down some of the brassiness. I like the fact this shampoo is sulfate-free too so it doesn’t contribute to more hair fading. It is also protein-infused as coloring or bleaching hair can have an affect on keratin in hair. It is a dark purple so be careful of use around light-colored or white washclothes or towels. The purple color will rinse out of your hair, though. This is more of a supplemental shampoo to be used occasionally with a regular shampoo–like maybe once or twice a week at the most. I like that it kind of neutralized my graying roots too and blended them in more with my blonde hair. This shampoo can be use on silvery graying hair too as it helps to take out some of the yellowish tinge in gray hair. It is kind of pricey but using it only once a week makes it last longer. Oh, I was surprised to find this shampoo at Target too.
