Wow this dye shampoo works 🤩 I only used a little since the rest of my hair is black and it definitely covered my grays. Great thing about it is since it’s a shampoo, I still have a lot left and can reuse it again once I get more grays. The best thing is this is only $15 🤩🤩🤩 Oh how I missed my normal black hair 😌😌😌
Side note: It did sting my scalp like any other hair dye so be a bit careful if you have sensitive skin.

I’ve been eyeing this product for a while , but never really ordered it until now , my coworker purchased it , I saw how well it covered her gray hair and decided to go ahead and purchase it , I went for the chestnut, as she , I was amazed on how well it works , although the box says chestnut will not cover all grey , it did for my coworker and myself . For me no more clairol grey cover bottles . This is my new to go. Definitely use as directed for it to work.
I also found that when you pump it’s clear and color at the same time. The smell is different nothing like hair dye or the semi permanent just different .

So it squirts out the dye from one tube and shampoo from the other. When you mix it together sometime there’s not enough dye in the solution so you need to just squirt it in your hand and slab a glob of it on the spot you want to dye. It takes about 25 minutes to dye and last about two or three weeks depending on how often you wash your hair. It stains everything it stays on for longer than 5 minutes. I stained my finger nails and sink. Just got to put it in and then wash your hands or use gloves.

Pros: I really love that it covers my greys perfect, and the color my hair gets. And leaves a beautiful shine I’ve been using this shampoo for a few months. It doesn’t fade easily.
Cons: my scalp hurts soooo much when I use this shampoo, I started noticing my hair is thinning, my hair is falling I love this product I hope they make it for sensitive scalp. This is why I put the BUT in my title.

I’ve been using box dyes for years, and they’re a bit of a pain. I only do my roots, so I was using a partial box every time, which is even less easy. This product is the best design, pumping out exactly what I want to use each time, with no fuss. I use a small glass bowl to mix the liquid up, and then apply it to my roots with a brush.
It still smells a bit bad, but nowhere near as bad as box dye. Hopefully it’s less toxic, but I have no idea about that.
I’ve been able to get several uses out of one bottle, and it’s still going strong, so it seems like a decent value.

I bought this because I’m African American (4a/4b low porosity high density) and my hair is a naturally lighter shade of Black, especially during the summer time, my hair will actually sun bleach and turn brown. That doesn’t look pretty for locs so I decided to try to use this to take my hair from natural black to jet black (uniformity). Also I had a piece of lint stuck in a loc in the back that I couldn’t get it out so dying my hair was also beneficial for that as well. The smell of the shampoo is ugh, doesn’t smell bad, doesn’t smell good. But it works really really well! I made sure to start on my dry locs then I used gloves and added the shampoo to my gloves, foamed it, then distributed evenly across my entire hair. I did end up using more than 1/2 the bottle because not that much comes in it. I placed about 3 mini trash bags on my head and continued showering and finished my night routine (about 1 hour passed with having it in my hair). I rinsed out the shampoo (rinse until the water is clear and keep squeezing your locs) in the sink and what was left was a complete transformation of my hair from black to jet black. I liked it so much I even did my eyebrows after. Will def be purchasing again. BE AWARE: THIS DOES STAIN WALLS, BATH TUBS, & TITLE. USE WITH PRECAUTION AND RINSE OFF EVERYTHING AFTER

i have a head full of gray hair, and i knew ordering any color lighter that my highlights would not work. i ordered the dark brown and it was magical. it covered it perfectly, and was not dark brown like black, but a true brown color. went perfectly with my blond highlights. i wanted braids so it was a quick solution. i have a sensitive scalp and it didnt bother me at all. Worth the Hype and the money.
