We were looking for a new hair product for my hubby’s thick curly hair. This does a pretty good job. He likes it and the scent is great. I definitely recommend this product. It is not stiff and sticky like most firm hair gels.

Been using Abba Medium Style gel for over 20 years. It’s light and holds well even after it seems to be gone.
This gel is very sticky, but after it dries, it also seems like it’s gone but holds like Abba, however, the issue I have with this ‘replacement’ is unlike Abba, when/if you get it on top of your ears, you really need to wash it off or it will be sticky all day. And unlike Abba, when you go to wash it out, it becomes very ‘slick’. Basically, with Abba, you can just rinse your hands after applying and it’s gone, with this, you need to soap and water to get it off, same in the shower (not that I don’t soap/water, but it feels like you *have* to soap/water it out)
After this tube is gone, I’ll find another replacement for Abba, but the Abba Medium Style Gel seems to work best *for my hair*. It’s not bad, just way different.
