There’s definitely a learning curve to using this, you just gotta take some time to try out the different temperatures and different depths. It’s much bulkier than my other wavers and it doesn’t stay closed when not in use, which I really don’t like. every time I am done using it I’m gonna have to wait for it to cool and then wrap a hair tie around it.
The power and temperature buttons are on the inside (see picture) which is odd. I got this open-box, and my hair smells burnt after using the water but I have no idea whether it actually burnt my hair or if the water just smells that way from someone else using it before me.
I love the fact that it’s adjustable, and I love how it made my hair look. The cons outweigh the pros a bit but I may still keep it. If I had spent more than 22 dollars I’d definitely be returning it.
Also, I did burn myself several times but unlike everyone else I’m not going to give a 1-star review simply because I don’t know how to handle a hot tool, but I strongly advise anyone who buys this to use heat-proof gloves

No es nada pequeña, de hecho es un poco pesada pero la ventaja es que es demasiado rápido el proceso en el cabello, calienta rapidísimo, marca las ondas de una manera muy linda y rápida.
Quedé muy satisfecha porque tiene una muy buena calidad y el precio no es tan elevado.

ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN FANTASTIC!
Let me enumerate the reasons:
1- Quality made: Wow, attention to detail. There is a velcro wrap for the cord to put away (only my laptop provided me with this!0. It has a very sturdy cover for the plug (I don’t even own anything that’s provided this!)
2- Weight is not too heavy, nor too light
3- Handle is easy to grip
4- There are more than 3 heat settings (again, Wow!)
5- VERY easy to use (watched a couple of youtube videos)
I used it out of the box yesterday, rushing, thinking this could be a disaster. My hair was pin straight, just past my jawline, had a bit of chi product (for heat protection). Here goes:
1- Sectioned it into about 4, using big clips (have a big head)
2- Bec my hair takes a curl VERY easily, put the heat at 325
3- Started off by using the largest size curl (your turn the knob on top) but, as I went along in the back area, closer to the nape, turned the it to the lower/smaller curl
4- There’s no ‘beep’ or timer for you to figure when it’s curled BUT, after your first section in it, you will immediately be able to see if you need a higher temp and also for how long you’d want it. I prefer to fry my hair as little as possible 🙂
5- Did my whole head in about 15 mins. Have 2 bathroom mirrors that strategically allows me to see the back and side of my head. That was VERY helpful for a first timer!
6- Once all curled, parted it, styled it a bit.
Holy smokes, it looks AMAZING! I slept on it and this morning, ladies, it looks even BETTER!! Btw, I was bit nervous that the barrel itself might be scalding hot but, I slightly grazed my finger on it while doing my virgin-rush-styling and my skin did NOT get scorched. I guess at 325, it’s not bad. I did however buy a heat styling glove fr Amazon too for the next time around (int he mial today).
Bottom line: BED HEAD YOU ARE THE BOMB!!! Thank you for a FANTASTIC wave! Mwah!

Muuuito fácil de manusear, nao corre risco de queimar o braço. Tem várias temperaturas pra se adequar ao fio do cabelo e causar uma agressão mínima. E ainda tem quatro tipos de tamanho pra você escolher o modelo de onda que você prefere. Na primeira foto tô usando o tipo de onda mais grosso e na segunda o mais fino, pra terem noção do efeito.
Único defeito é que a tomada é no modelo dos EUA, então precisa de um benjamin pra poder usar.

This product is fantastic. It’s the best crimper I have ever used. The barrel adjustment is excellent in finding just the right curl size for anyone’s liking. It’s a solid product, adds lots of lift for those with flatter fine hair, especially combined with a root lifter spray. The curl is awesome, with lasting results. Be sure to use a heat protecting spray on your hair before use to protect your hair from damage. But why perm your hair when you can use this instead. I can’t recommend this enough. It’s a fabulous product.

This hair tool did an amazing job on my thick, hard to do anything with hair. I set it on the deepest setting with a medium heat level. It gave my hair beautiful deep waves that lasted all night! I got so many compliments everywhere I went. The tool is durable, and easy to use! For the price- it’s worth every penny.
If you need a hair tool to make your hair look curly or wavy, this is the product for you! I love Bedhead products and i’m so happy I purchased this!

It was a little heavy for a hair tool but idc bc it works amazing. I love that I can do tight waves and loose ones depending on my mood… before I had one that had one wave style. This gives you 3 different curl/ wave sizes. It heats up fast and wasn’t super expensive. Super easy to use as well.

I love this appliance. It works on my thick hair, and I use the tallest setting for wavier look- lots of compliments from colleagues. Price is solid, and I’ve tried more expensive brands. This one is my favorite due to the adjustable settings.

I love this, It heats up instantly and is really easy to use. Be careful in case you burn yourself, I’ve already done so twice. Wear heat gloves if you can and also cover your legs and arms if you’re clumsy.
I’m really glad I bought this hair tool.. It gives very pretty wavy hair and also gives hair a tonne of volume. Its extremely quick and easy to use.
Depending on the heat temperature you set the iron at, your waves can last days afterwards. I would definitely recommend using a hair oil and of course a heat protectant spray if you don’t want dry damaged hair.
The only other thing I would note is that the one I received is the classic Bed Head blue colour and not purple like in the picture.

I have had no experience with these curling type crimpers. So a more experienced person may get a much better result than I did. I watched the video on YouTube because there was no little booklet with instructions on how to use it. It was advertised to have several settings but I could not find them, so I just tried to curl my hair. I have naturally curly hair, but I thought maybe those big longer curls would be interesting, but I just ended up burning the top layer of my hair, so now it’s all frizzy. I only set it to the middle setting. I did not have it on the top setting for heat. It also does not have a little stand or a built-in latch, so when you want to put it down on the counter , you can’t. Again, the girl in the video was so experienced. She was making it look so easy to do but I was a complete klutz with it and it is a bit heavy. Maybe I’ll try again some other time after I watch a few more videos. But for now, not user friendly.
