Socozy Curl Shampoo is a go-to for parents with curly-haired toddlers. It gently cleanses without stripping moisture, leaving my two-year-old’s curls soft and manageable. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, adding a nice touch to bath time. Overall, it’s a trustworthy option for curly hair care.

It is bad quality that it got stuck in my toddler’s hair. I used lots of conditioner to wash it off from her hair. So disappointing!

This is a great curl shampoo it smells and feels great and pairs perfectly with the curl cream

I did not have high hopes for the shampoo because I have 4C afro-natural hair & as an adult, I use a lot of curl creams and oils.

    PROS:
    — VERY gentle and non-stripping to my hair. I like that because my hair already tends towards dryness.
    — I didn’t have to use very much. Again, that was a surprise because I thought I would need a lot of such a gentle shampoo to clean my hair.
    — It left my hair softer than most other shampoos – including those made for ethnic hair. So that hydrating claim is definitely true.
    — This even did a good job of cleaning my scalp. That was the big test because I apply hair grease regularly to my scalp.
    — The ingredients list is excellent. The “good stuff” is nearer to the top than in other products. I really like that.
    — There is fragrance listed but it’s near the bottom and the shampoo had no noticeable scent.
    — It’s free of all the things I am now trying to avoid – fake dyes & other not-for-me ingredients.

There are no negatives to speak of. The fact that it’s a USA-made product only adds to the positives. I had never heard of this brand until I ran across the Leave-in spray and fell in love with that. I decided to try the shampoo, conditioner, and detangler. I’m so glad that I found this line of products.

I went to Sally’s to buy my daughters shampoo. I prefer this better. I used a mild cleanser before, hardly any soap but wouldn’t clean her hair properly. So I bought this and omg, it has cleaned and it helps with the curls.
My other daughter has straight hair and it’s even curling her hair

The smell was good. Used it on my daughter’s hair. She’s got a head full of curls. Used both shampoo and conditioner. It left her hair frizzy. Curls are gone. Yikes. I think I’ll stick to Shea Moisture. The shampoo was creamy, very nice but I don’t think it works well for her.

This shampoo and the conditioner have made an incredibly difference with my daughter’s curly hair. She has 3a hair. I’ve used several shampoos and conditioners for her, and her hair was always a nightmare to comb after her baths; it was always so tangled, and it would take close to 30 minutes to comb and detangle. I even used to comb her hair while still in the bath before washing out the conditioner, just to try to help the tangles (this didn’t do much to help.)
After reading other reviews here and watching some reviews on YouTube, I decided to give this brand a shot — the immediate change was INSANE. The FIRST time shampooing and conditioning her hair, it took 2 minutes to comb her hair afterward. TWO minutes, compared to around 30 minutes after using other brands. Her hair is so soft, smells amazing, and her curls are shiny and bouncy. We only wash her hair a few times a week, and in between washes, her hair still looks great and doesn’t tangle up nearly as much as it used to. Every bath that we’ve used this, her hair has been quick and easy to manage afterward. (One night, her hair was accidentally shampooed with one of those Suave 3-in-1 shampoo/body wash/bubble bath things for kids, and her hair was horribly tangled afterward; I rewashed her hair with the SoCozy products and they immediately saved the day and helped drastically smooth out the tangled mess of curls.)
I have also started using the SoCozy leave-in conditioner spray, and that’s further enhanced my daughter’s hair. I’m completely over the moon with these products and how they’ve helped my daughter’s hair, and most importantly, my daughter loves how her hair rarely tangles now and she’s obsessed with how her smells “beautiful” now. I’ll only be using this brand moving forward.

Better than the cheap products we have been using from Walmart. Great value for your money and a nice scent! Good for my kiddo. Keeps her nice and feeling soft for a long time.
