They do feel kind of flimsy and cheap, but they are good enough for the price. It’s to be expected for such an inexpensive product. They don’t work as a flea comb for a long-haired dog, even though the tines are close together. They just don’t penetrate the coat and they don’t even really work as a way to part the hair down the back for a long haired, double coated dog. The moral of the story is, you do get what you pay for and I wish I had bought a Chris Christienson comb. However, I bet they would work well enough on humans provided the hair is not too thick and they are designed for humans. I was just in a hurry.

The comb is very handy, and easy to use, it’s also awesome for quick touch ups. The metal tail is a comfortable size and shape, and the sharpness is perfect for getting into braids and locs with ease.
The tail is not too thick and is slim enough to get between strands of hair, while still maintaining it’s quality in different styles of hair, and well as styling the hair any way you want.

All combs where very good quality. They are string but glide trough the hair. I use it to bris my curl clumps and it does damage my hair.
