The first time I tried it, I find it soothes my scalp right away. I did not know if it was going to work for the itchiness and flakes but just the feeling of relief was good. Then after a day I used it again and I find the flakes were less (almost did not see any) and the itching was less too. Then another day I used it again and no more itchiness and no more flakes.
I have read the review about the smell and it’s not bad at all. I recommend this product!!

This stuff works really good. Totally cleared up my itchy scalp. Man does it smell bad tho. Thankfully the smell doesn’t stay with you after using it. The conditioner doesn’t smell at all. Both do a great job.

I had tried some other dandruff shampoos and none worked on my scalp
I have not been to a doctor to get diagnosed however I do have a very oil scalp and I’ve always gotten a lot of dandruff if I don’t wash every night my scalp would also get extremely itchy
So I found this product and decided to give it a go
This shampoo has saved my life.
I no longer suffer from the severe dandruff
My scalp does not itchy like crazy and I can wash hair every other day if I like or go on for 3 days with out washing my hair
The smell is a bit unusual at first like tar but I didn’t mind as it was resolving so many issues for me
I did try the mask as well and the conditioner however the key is the shampoo
Trust me with good head massage and good two washes each time you shower this will clear up your problems

For nearly the past year, I have endured major hair loss, severe scalp pain/sensitivity, and an extremely oily scalp that needs frequent washing which causes extremely dry hair. I have tried so many shampoos, head and shoulders, pura d’or, biotin and thicker shampoos, ketoconazole, salicylic acid, etc…. Everything I tried seemed to cause further irritation and pain which I was desperate to stop along with my hair loss. I found this on amazon and bought it based on the excellent reviews…
So far, I am very impressed. I have used this for a couple weeks at this point and even though I have to wash every single day, my scalp seems to tolerate this better than anything else!
The smell is mild, kinda earthy, but it doesn’t linger once rinsed and the amazing cooling sensation feels wonderful and therapeutic on my scalp.
I feel one wash is sufficient, I use about a quarter sized amount (shorter hair), and once I dry my hair it looks clean and feels manageable and soft without oily residue or without my hair feeing like straw, like other medicated shampoos cause. For me personally, contrary to common advice and even the advice of my dermatologist, I have found that more frequent washing causes less pain for my scalp and waaaay less hair loss. For that reason, I happily bought this shampoo because it recommended daily use.
Hair issues are so difficult to deal with and scalp pain can be debilitating for some, let me tell you, so if you wanna use something natural and avoid the side effects of harsh chemical shampoos, try this! I highly recommend it!

This shampoo used in unison with their cream has turned into a cure for me. Please see below the review I wrote regarding my use for the cream which mentions this shampoo as well. This shampoo is so refreshing to my scalp and leaves my hair very soft. Just let me add that some of the reviews mentioned the scent as a negative. I was shocked to use it and discover it is a very, very slight woodsy smell that disappears with the rinsing of my hair. The relief the shampoo offers after a few years of a painful and itchy scalp is worth any odor, but it really is so mild I was surprised it really bothered some people. I use a nicely scented cream rinse so there’s really no problem as far as I’m concerned. There is also a slight tingle while you leave the shampoo on your scalp for a few minutes but it is a very soothing feel in my opinion. Alright, now let me share the review I left for this brand’s cream that also mentions this shampoo……..”Seriously, immediate relief! These are pictures behind both ears before the first application and then pictures directly after first use! It’s like icy hot with the warming and cooling for about 15 minutes. After 2 years of irritated and itchy skin this warmth and cooling felt so absolutely wonderful and refreshing! This arrived on a Thursday so I applied 2 times that day. Friday I applied twice before having to wash it out with a medicated shampoo that I found helped with flaking for a day or so each use as we were going out of town for two days. Sunday I applied twice, Monday three times, and Tuesday twice before using this brand’s shampoo. I put on my black bowling team shirt and absolutely no flakes at all, no itching at all! I applied again on Wednesday and Thursday 2 times each day. I started to get a few pimples behind my right ear so I figured I was over using it. I’ve since washed my hair 2 more times using this brand’s shampoo and still no itching or flaking! I think I’ll probably use their shampoo at least once a week in order to maintain my scalp! When I was reading other comments many stated to just leave it in your hair for a few days without washing it out so that’s what I did and I’m beyond excited about the results. I made sure to stay home as with the applications I started to look quite greasy, lol. When I think of all of the money I spent on so many shampoos and other items throughout the last couple of years when I could have found this cure which I just happened to come across in Amazon, read the reviews, and ordered it immediately. For me, I truly consider this a cure!”

Hairdresser here! I used to get a prescription shampoo from my dermatologist for my itchy scalp psoriasis, but found this when i was pregnant and thought i needed something more natural. Obsessed with it and i share it with everyone i know!! My scalp has a slight cool mint feel after leaving it in for a few minutes, but even after the shower for DAYS i don’t itch!!! I only use it like once every 3-4 hair washes and it’s so effective at doing what it’s meant to do. Highlight reccomend to anyone with an itchy scalp or dandruff!!

My 8 year old began to experience (what I believe to be) seborrheic dermatitis early into summer break. It was patchy, scaly, thick and itchy. The flakes were very visible. I tried Sulfur 8, with very little improvement. Than I tried Nizoral, which I didn’t find all that effective for the price. I found this product after a Google search, and decided to try it on her. The dry scalp no longer thickens the way it initially did, and the scabbing and itchiness have greatly improved. I apply the shampoo, gently scrub her scalp, and then gently brush her hair with a shampoo brush. After rinsing and air drying, I apply the matching treatment cream. She says it tingles, but I think that just means it’s working. These products can be drying, though so I occasionally follow up with a conditioner. For reference, my daughter has natural, textured, 4B hair. Highly recommend.
