I got this cheaper dupe for my Denman brush for travel, so I wouldn’t have to worry about losing my original one. It’s shaped similarly, costs half as much, and comes with a mini brush for just a dollar extra.
When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed. The mini brush is so tiny that it’s hard to use. It feels like I’m using a doll’s brush. Both brushes came in the same package, and at first, I thought I had only received one brush, but there were two in the small box. I’ve added some pictures for size comparison.
The bristles on these new brushes aren’t as soft or flexible as my trusty old Denman brush. The bigger one feels a little cheaper and not as well-balanced in my hand, but the bristles fan out wider. You can see a comparison of the two in the last photo.
It’s alright for what I need, and it’s nice that both together cost half the price of the brand name. But if you have the choice, I’d stick with the Denman.

I like this brush because it’s good for my curls but when I have a knot the brush separates from the handles when I need to brush hard. Still worth it for the price but annoying when you have curl cream on your hands and need to struggle to put it back together.

Good spring to the bristles, and a nice grip. Feels solid and good quality. So good, my son asked me to buy one for him. Now, he is incredibly picky with products on his super thick, curly hair (3b/3c/4a curls). His hair is waist length and very few brushes have earned his approval. My hair is mid-length, 3b/3c pattern curls and this brush worked well to distribute products throughout. I plan to buy more for all my family with curly hair. I definitely recommend.

I used the same sturdy brush for years when the handle snapped off. Wasn’t sure I would find another one to replace it. But this brush works great! Very happy with my purchase. Arrived very quickly and is just what I needed. I would recommend.
