While this is not one of the higher priced military brushes, I’ve got nothing but praise for this one. The size is very comfortable, the wood beautiful, and the way it brushes is amazing. Going off of experience, it can make the thickest, coursest,and even driest hair shine, and, trust me, your hair will look and feel healthier after a few strokes.
Some reviews I read mentioned it shedding hair, and though this one has lost a few hairs, it’s pretty minimal, and hardly worth noticing. Either way, I figure you still will come further ahead buying this one than not. The price is good, and it works great for Father’s Day, stocking gift, or whatever. To be honest, I’m tempted to get it even for a baby shower, as babies LOVE it, and it is not too hard on their scalp at all once they have a little hair of their

I looked at more than a dozen reviews for a no-handle (military style) hair brush and this Diane model got very good reviews. The first time I opened it up and tried it it seemed a bit smaller than I had thought, and the bristles seemed a bit softer than the bush’s “Medium” billing. BUT over a couple weeks of using the brush I really like it. It fits in my hand well and will easily fit in my travel kit. And I have come to like the medium bristle stiffness. The build quality of the brush is excellent and it just looks overall (dark wood and finish) like a high quality brush. Very satisfied with this brush and would recommend it.
