I’ve had my babyliss pro dryer for 14 years since cosmetology school but never owned a diffuser – like everyone else, i’ve been watching lots of tiktok videos on taking care of your waves and curls so I decided to look into finding an attachment for my old dryer (still runs like a dream btw) this thing is great, works well, does fall off but the warning on the side says not to use it at high heat and full blast which i definitely did so that’s my own fault. will definitely keep using this ! not sure if it’s universal, it is not made for my exact dryer model but it fits the babyliss pro ceramic from 2010

It works. Functions well as a diffuser. My hair dryer model is one of the ones for which this diffuser is indicated but it does not stay on. Per one recommended I put a rubber band around the hair dryer to try to get the diffuser to stay on a bit better. Does it work? Meh. I make it work though. I will say it has popped off a few times and fallen onto our tile floor and it has not broken/chipped. So kudos for durability.

El difusor NO es Universal como se anuncia… ni siquiera se adapta a secadoras BaBylissPRO (lo compré para una secadora BaBylissPRO. Rapido). Lo peor… Este vendedor NO hace devoluciones, lo cual no se detalla en las características y descripción del producto. Seguramente el vendedor lo hace así de forma maliciosa porque sabe que su producto NO CUMPLE con las características anunciadas.
Es la primera vez que me pasa esto con alguna compra en Amazon. Más aún con productos PRIME, donde las políticas de devolución son muy claras y las excepciones bien detalladas… este producto NO entra en ninguna de esas excepciones. Por tanto, lo que el vendedor hace es literal ROBARTE!!

The negative reviews I read before buying seemed to be mostly “didn’t fit” …this is partially the fault of consumer not doing enough research and due diligence but also partially the fault of seller and description of “universal”. It’s not really universal because this is not going to fit ALL hair dryers. That said, it DOES state that in the description, that it fits “MOST” Conair hair dryers. Hence…. See what I’m saying?
I will say, if it helps, I believe it needs to be a straight nozzle and would have to be no bigger than a certain size. Not sure if nozzles are much bigger than what I own but mine is 1-15/16″ from outer edges, exactly, at the end opening. And it’s a pretty tight fit! So that would be absolute MAX diameter.
I pretty well knew this would fit mine because I have an old Conair diffuser (now broken) that I used for YEARS and this one is the exact size and design (and make) as my old one, minus the infrared – shiny inside plate.
I love this new one because it actually matches my hair dryer beautifully 🙂 (old one was light grey) and it {supposedly} has the infrared factor. Yay.
So happy I found this and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a diffuser attachment!

Purchased the diffuser first then went to find a dryer that it would fit on, I went to 5 different shops and tried many dyers and the diffuser fell off most of them. I ended up with one that works fairly well. The dryer has to have a straight barrel not a funnel or slanted shaped end. Btw tried to find a Babyliss dryer in Qld, Australia thinking that I would find one in their own range…. no luck.

I bought this diffuser specifically for my Babyliss Pro hairdryer. This is actually the second one of these I have purchased. The first one I bought a few years ago. It broke and doesn’t stay on the dryer all that well. Long story short, I kept the broken one but found myself in need of a second one that I could have at home (while leaving the broken one at my seasonal campsite). When I was looking to buy the second one, I forgot how the first one broke. NOW I remember. This diffuser does NOT stay on the dryer. It fits like a glove but it ultimately slides up and pops off the top of the dryer. And that is the first one broke. It popped off the dryer and one of the pieces on the inside (that is presumably to hold the diffuser in place) broke. The BROKEN one actually stays on the dryer as long as I don’t tip the dryer over. For the one that isn’t broken, I literally have to hold it on with one hand while using my other hand to hold the dryer. It’s ridiculous. I’m just glad it was cheap. But, then again, I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

I purchased this to use on my 7 year old who has very curly hair. Her hair looks great after using it and it fits well on my blow dryer without falling off.

I have a Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium dryer. When I placed the diffuser on it, it immediately fell off. The dryer was not even turned on. I tried again, again fell off. Tried again and was able to turn the dryer on low. As soon as I did that, the diffuser fell off again. Amazon does not accept returns for this item, even though it says it is eligible for return. It takes you to a support page where you are directed to call the manufacturer. However, the number listed for the manufacturer is wrong. There is a transposition. The company that I called said that they have been trying to get Amazon to correct he number for a long time. They gave me the correct number. However, you go through pushing the buttons and no one answers. It just rings and says we appreciate your patience, please hold for next representative. I finally sent an e-mail to the manufacturer and they said that they couldn’t refund because it wasn’t purchased from them. After a lot of searching on the Amazon site, I was able to request a refund through chat. I don’t have to return the product, so off to the trash it goes.

My hairdryer was listed as one of the babyliss hairdryers compatible with this diffuser. Not only does it not stay on, you can’t even hold it on as the plastic gets to hot to hold. Even if you hold it upright, it just pops off and hits the floor. Do not recommend purchasing. All these terrible reviews are not user error, the product just sucks. Wish I could get my money back.

I bought this diffuser because it was the exact same make as my blow dryer. You’d think it would fit perfectly and stay on but it doesn’t. They made it universal to please the multitude and in the meantime slightly betrayed those who want a diffuser to stay on their hair dryer! I gave 4 stars because it works but I really wish it would stay on 100% of the time! Nothing like trying to blows dry your hair and have hour diffuser pop off and fly across the room. It’s just a diffuser waiting to get broken. Next time I’ll just buy whatever diffuser rather than the one that matches my hair dryer.
