I have dark brown hair with some grey hair. I bought this product to cover my grey hair.
First, I found the product very messy to apply and wear. It is very liquid and it kept dripping while applying it and wearing it.
As per the instructions, I was supposed to leave it for 1 hr (dark brown on grey hair). Since my hair is quite thick, I left it for 1 hr and 20-30 mins. The result were not satisfactory: my grey hair became yellow and it didn’t get covered at all.

I bought dark brown, hoping it will cover my gray with dark brown. I let it sit for a couple of hours and the result was red/copper/orange kind of sheen on the top of my head and the rest was dark brown. I don’t know why. It’s ok, I can still use it, but not the best result. it is easy enough to use it, except that I had to squeeze the bottle hard to get the solution out. The solution was in good consistency.

I’ve been using this the past few years and notice it has much better coverage of greys than normal henna powder. No mixing necessary, the henna dye is much easier and faster to apply. Just like regular henna, i leave it in my hair for about 6 hours to take full effect. In the past i tried recommended time frame and it didn’t take to my hair. Washed out after the first wash. So now i leave for 6 hours. No ill effects from this. It fully takes to my hair and won’t fully wash out for about 2.5 months, which is how often i re-dye my hair anyway. It starts out rather dark and fades to a nice rich brown after a few washes. Buying on Amazon is usually cheaper than in store, but i do find that this brand can be found at most health food stores I’ve searched. I use griffin remedy color safe shampoo to maintain the color. I usually wash my hair 2 times per week so as to maintain the color longer, otherwise it might fade after about a month. I will continue buying this brand for the foreseeable future as all the other henna dye powders seem less effective on my greys. If you have a decent amount of grey, you will like this product. Just make sure to totally saturate down to the root and let sit for 6 hours. I know it’s annoying but i usually sleep with it in and put down an old towel to protect my bedding. Then i wake up and shower to rinse it out. Works like a charm.

I have been using this Henna for many years. It is very easy to apply and the color is rich and has a lot of depth. I use a flat brush to apply it to my roots then I cover the rest of my hair with what is left. It covers my grays and makes them look like auburn highlights. I highly recommend it.

I love this henna! It’s premixed and easy to apply and reapply when it starts to fade. Most of the boxes contain the product, gloves and cap, but I’ve noticed some batches as missing the plastic accessories. I have dark brown hair (use burgundy or chocolate henna) with some gray. This covers the gray completely and as it fades the grays look like reddish highlights. ..which is better than gray!
My hair was thinning on top and years of using this product has helped to strengthen my hair
