OK, so I have been using for about a week during hot, humid weather. It is easy to apply, once you figure out the little pump thingy. I apply generously to my head (important) and pull it through to the ends as well. My hair is almost waist length and I have been wearing straight all my life. Last summer I gave into my coily curls for the summer. I tried all the leave in products I could find. It turns out I believe the Tracy Ellis Styling Custard works the best. However, I cannot afford to use this on the daily. I CAN afford the Carol’s Daughter Goddess Strength Leave in conditioner AND it is a very, very close second. You must coat every strand from top to bottom to avoid frizz. Apply generously and pull through with a wide tooth comb and air dry. You will have silky defined curls all over. When dry it looks like you havn’t used any product. It’s amazing my curls have never looked better and at $12 for a fair size bottle, you will bee able to lather your head daily for bouncy perfect curls. There seems to be no scent which is great also. I now love this stuff! I am sitting here typing with Godess coated wet curls hanging all around. It lasts a couple of days too which makes things easier. Day of application plus 2-3 additional days of soft, luscious curls. For the curly girls out there, TRY IT, you will love it too. And for some reason even if you don’t, $12 is not much of a risk. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Love this stuff!

I recently made the decision to transition from relaxed hair to natural again and this product (of course in combination with healthy lifestyle choices, good wash routine, and a few supplements) has greatly impacted the way my hair has grown (I’ve been using this product consistantly for about a month now):
Appearance: it’s less frizzy, has a lot of shine, and is growing out quickly. Less breakage and a deeper, richer color.
Smell: was not my favorite at first tbh, but I have come to love it, as the product itself works very well on my hair type (3c/4a)
Application: feels like a cream and when applied to damp hair, slides through like a warm oil. A little goes a long way and I’m able to work it from root to tip without too much saturation. It detangles my hair as I apply it so I dont need to do any extra combing (this is a literal miracle, I have yet to find a product that can match this detangling power)
On Dry Hair: It works best on wet hair. When applied on dry hair, it didnt work as well for me, so I use a different product for refreshing (yall with the same hair are gonna know about using a few different products to achieve different looks). Same brand, the Carol’s daughter almond milk leave in conditioning spray is excellent to rehydrate before my next wash day, also it smells beautiful.
Overall: If you actually read all that, I’m dead serious. This stuff has been a blessing for me. If you have 3c/4a hair and you are willing, I highly recommend just giving it a shot. Wait it out, you never really know of somthing actually works until you use it consistently for at least 2 weeks! Happy hair journey!

I ordered this leave in and a few other items from this line due to the great reviews. I have 3B natural curls. My hair has always been dry, so curling creams, hair masques and leave in conditioners have always been a major part of my hair care routine. Unfortunately over the years, I’ve had to change the hair products I used due to formula changes. I was skeptical however that skepticism went away quickly after I used the hair mask from this line. My curls emerged from dry, and dull to hydrated, soft, and healthy. I’ve never used a Leave In that has as much slip at this leave in does. My fingers glide through with ease which was huge for me because my hair always has knots and is tangled in the back of my head. I absolutely love that this leave in is vegan as well. I did keep two stars because of the smell. You can definitely smell the ginger and black cumin seed. I don’t like ginger, so the smell is rather offputting. Despite the smell, I can appreciate how moisturized my hair has been staying. My hair feels so soft and looks so vibrant for over 72 hours. It makes me happy. I would certainly recommend this leave in for anyone who needs consistent moisturization for dry prone hair, I would not recommend the smell to anyone though.

I am a huge fan of this product! The product has my bright red (colored), low porosity 3B hair soft and moisturized. My curls have never looked better and I put my hair through a lot. The only reason why I give it a 4 and not a 5 is that the scent is incredibly strong. So strong it smells as if I put on perfume, so be cautious if you a sensitive to smells. overall though the product came well packaged/on time and checked off all the boxes in my book. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

Nice product. I’m using it with the shampoo and conditioner and it works great. The smell is not too strong, their regular conditioner has way too much fragrance but it’s a rinse out conditioner so it’s not like the fragrance is worn after showering. This leave-in product is moisturizing and nice. My fair feels like it’s getting what it needs.
