I have a really oily scalp that ive struggled with my whole life. I’ve only ever really used detangler brushed and had never tried a boar bristle brush before but after reading reviews I figured I’d give it a try. It does seem to help distribute the oil down my hair and if I brush at night when I wake up it’s far less obvious and lets me go longer between shampooing.
The size works for me. Ive got shoulder length really thin hair. The quality of the handle seems nice and sturdy. It does drop a bristle or two almost every use which doesn’t feel sustainable for long. I think the over all cost to quality ratio is what I expected though.

We needed something gentle but firm to use on our super-senior cat with short, thick coat. Baby Girl isn’t good at grooming herself any more, and the brushes we had either weren’t getting through her coat or were too prickly for her fragile skin. This gives her a good, firm brush to lean against, gets a lot of the dander and shed, and she can really enjoy it without pain.
