I had high hopes for these, and they have been on my curly hair wish list for awhile. When I received them, my first thought was that I must have bought the cheap knock off version. No, they are the name brand curl keeper root clips. They are very uncomfortable and pull and snag my hair. I have fine hair, so maybe they are better suited for thick hair. I will try them again on my next wash day, but overall they are a disappointment and not worth the money.

I really like these clips. They do the job well, but it can be difficult to use them in fine hair as they’re a bit heavy and can tip over. I’ve found adjusting them can usually fix the problem, but people with fine, thin hair – be prepared.

Just received these and was REALLY SURPRISED to get a PACK of 12 instead of 4 as indicated in the product description!! For the right grip and lift I was willing to pay more, so this was just a big bonus! They worked perfectly in my fine curly hair and gave the boost I was looking for.

Picture shows a woman with these clips in her hair without rollers. These clips are WAY too big to be used like that. The ends are pointy and the spring is very strong. When used without rollers, they flop around on your head and dig into your scalp. Absolutely useless for creating volume while hair is drying.

Neat idea but you need relatively thick, or more hair. My hair is thin so they don’t hold. Need smaller ones.

These clips do help you get volume, but they are very loose if you have thin hair. So you have to keep making sure they stay up.

Watch the videos, then find your own way! My hair is finer so I had to mess with them to find the best fit for lift. You look a bit goofy in the car on the way to work – my hair is still setting up on the way – but hey, do what you gotta do!
