One less star than I gave a similar, but significantly less money. A great idea — it IS comfortable to wear when your head is resting against something— but it cannot hold an adequate amount of hair. The end opposite the hinge does not close and hold its contents, even when limiting how much hair I ask it to hold. I hope these manufacturers continue to work on the design.

A serious upgrade to the standard claw clip – beautiful, really comfortable and high quality. Reordering two more for my mom and sister! On size – I have medium-thick hair a few inches past my shoulders and I need the large to pull up all of my hair, the medium for a half-up look.

Love that it’s flat. Feels much sturdier than other clips I’ve tried. If you have super long, thick hair, may still need bobby pins or something else to hold the weight of your hair up, but still super cute accessory.

I have 3c curly hair and this clip does not hold my hair in place for too long. It starts slipping off sideways within a couple hours and requires readjusting. Im sure it works for straight or wavy hair but not for my hair type. The quality is beautiful though and Id probably repurchase it to try in a different size or as a gift for different textured hair.
