5 stars for this boar bristle brush. Yes, it is very soft, i was stylist and I can appreciated a good authentic soft boar brush. Yes, you may find it hard to get right into that scalp but you can do it in sections. Also a great finishing brush, great to “smooth” over styles.

Just takes some adjusting on the users part and read up on how to use them.

I love this brush. My hair feels so much healthier. It doesn’t rip my hair out at all. My granddaughter doesn’t mind it either. No fighting to brush long locks of hair. I will say it did take some getting used to because it does feel very different from bristles. It gets every tangle out, pain free, damage free. I love the way my hair feels after a good brushing

Got it for the brush. Works great, makes my hair behave instantly and flattens out all the chaos. The little comb is good for combing against the flow of your hair and finding little tangles. Not designed for it, doesn’t do anything magical, just works fine for that. Trying to style with it’s useless it’s way too thick to lift up the hairs going the natural direction. Maybe for much longer hair it’s work better but I have short hair right now. Also included some hair ties and other junk, didn’t use em and they looked rather cheap and ugly. Good value for all the stuff though.

This brush has the plastic prongs in addition to the boar’s bristles. I will attach a picture. It’s not exactly what I expected, but I don’t dislike it. I thought I was getting an old fashioned hair brush like I had as a kid, but this one is sort of the best of both worlds. You get the boar’s bristle hair brush with the longer plastic probes and they detangle and massage. Overall, I’m pleased with this brush. I do like the feel of the brush, but the handle is so smooth to the touch, I keep dropping it. It helps to push the oils through the hair so that you don’t have to wash it so frequently. I normally have to wash it at least twice a week, but I’ve been able to go a full week between washes by using this brush. My hair looks & feels healthier already.

The brush seems to help with frizz in my hair but it does have a strange smell that can get left behind on your hair – not super overpowering or anything but noticeable if you’re looking for it

It is a nice brush. My hair is long and thinning. I was concerned about brushes pulling on my hair and causing hair loss. I searched on the internet and read about different types that are easier on the hair. This brush is similar to the ones I read about. I love it. It does not even feel like it is brushing my hair. It is so smooth. One day I ran a comb through my hair after using the brush and there were no tangles. I highly recommend this brush.

I’ve had my old boar brush for over forty years. My hair is almost waist-length, and this brush is perfect for any length of hair. It is lightweight and well-made. The price of a boar brush is high, but this one is amazing, to say the least.
Little girls love how it doesn’t hurt when brushing out tangles. It works great on my fine, gray hair. Get one; it works for men and women.
