First off, I have coarse, red hair. I can go 5 days without washing my hair and without using any product (dry shampoo) before my hair gets oily and flat.
When using, I flipped my head over, sprayed a couple times, flipped again and sprayed a couple times on my dry, clean hair before brushing through and flat ironing.
With that being said I like this product, it did not make my hair greasy or sticky. I did not have to wash my hair before my usual 5 day mark and I didn’t feel I needed to touch up my hair with the flat iron within those 5 days. I think with this one a little goes a long way.
Con: the only con to this product is the smell. I do not appreciate the smell. It’s not putrid but it doesn’t smell good. It did not make my hair smell bad after using though, just when spraying.
I did use this with the Kristen Ess hair straightener I just got the same day. I’ll leave a review on that if you’re interested.

Hands down the BEST to prep your hair for heat styling. I’m a product junkie and have switched up my routine product line a zillion times and this blow dry spray is always always makes the cut. I’ll add/remove products and change the order of things but this one is a regular for me. It smells so good even after blow drying, my hair doesn’t smell cooked or like something is burning. It’s light but omg sooo good. My hair is never burned or damaged even with high heat temps (my hair type-3c/4a). Initially I thought the feel had a bit too much slip and was a tad greasy but trust the process. Your hair will not dry greasy or feel heavy at all. My hair is feathery, light, soft, and healthy so much so that I’ve stop giving a pass through with a flatiron bc I love the results with just blow drying and this spray.

I have long, thick, coarse hair and this product truly cuts the time to blow dry it. It also helps reduce frizz but I also use additional products because my hair is coarse and white. Highly recommend it.

This is my 2nd bottle of the blow dry mist. First one came with mini flat iron I ordered last fall for my trip. Works great for my hair type (naturally wavy). Great to use before blowdrying or when using with flat iron. Gives a nice shine. One of my favorite hair products.

I love this stuff. I have used many different products over the years and everything Kristen ess has become staples in my home. They are great for my straight hair and my daughter’s curly hair. The smell is wonderful and it goes a long way. I do recommend that you spray it on about 5-10 minutes before using a curling iron or straightener as it’s oil based and needs to absorb into your hair before applying direct heat but you can spray and blow dry right away. It works great and my hair looks nice and shiny afterwards. It’s not too thick either so you only need a few sprays. I highly recommend.

I love this product. It smells so good and it leaves my hair feeling so nice and shiny and soft. I like that it doesn’t make my hair oily. I also really love the fact that I don’t have to use 100 different products on my hair. I just use this product spray it on and then style my hair, it gives my hair a lot of volume. It’s easy to use with the spray function. I like that my hands don’t have to get dirty. This is one of the best products for your hair.
