These Black Hair Ties for Thick Hair have been amazing for my daughter and me! We both have thick hair, and it can be hard to find ties that don’t break or damage our hair, but these are perfect. They’re strong, stretchy, and don’t snag or pull. The 120-pack is great, and they hold our ponytails securely without slipping. Plus, they don’t leave those annoying creases in our hair after wearing them all day. I highly recommend it to anyone with thick hair!

This is one of the most economical options I have seen recently for a wonderful quantity of 120 hair ties. I like the black color, because some of the sports teams the girls participate in have uniform regulations, and they are only allowed to wear certain colors when competing. These work really well for their pony tails. The fabric material is soft and stretchy, and they are comfortable to wear and gentle on the hair.
These are kind of versatile little bands, too. I use them to tie back curtains, secure around gift wrapping paper rolls, keep rolled up maps tidy, etc. Any time we have a project going on where we need something like a rubber band, but softer and more long-lasting, these are my go-to bands. For our household, these are very multipurpose and we are enjoying them so far.

These SUTHIA Black Hair Ties are pretty amazing. My hair is in a ponytail 24/7—awake, asleep, during sports while wearing a helmet—so I go through a lot of hair bands. These are different from regular elastic bands in that they’re a seamless circle of stretchy fabric. I like a tight pony tail, but I’ve always hated the pull on my scalp or the one or two stray hairs that are pulled so tight that I have to dig around to loosen them up. These hair ties hold firmly, but more gently, and I have yet to experience an uneven hold or stray painful hair being pulled.
I’m also approaching menopause, so my hair sheds like crazy, which usually gets tightly knotted around most regular elastic hair bands and is almost impossible to remove. I find less hair on these SUTHIA bands when I take them out, and the hair that I do find is more easily removed from the band than my old brand.
My only concern is that since these are basically material with unfinished edges (the edges roll in so you don’t see the unfinished edge), every so often I’ll see a loose thread. So far, I’ve just trimmed them off and the band works as normal, but even if I leave the threads on, the band works fine.
I’ve been wearing the same one for a week (again, 24/7 and during sports) and while it’s clear that it’s stretched some, I can still secure my hair with the same number of twists, so it holds pretty much as well and as comfortably as its brand new siblings. This is a great value at $6.99 for 120 of them. It’s going to take a long time for me to go through all of them, even with the abuse that I put them through.

UPDATE: It took about 2 weeks of constant, heavy duty wear for me to stretch one out to the point where I wanted to switch it out for a new one (and I’m saving the old one for days when I want a lighter hold, because it’s by no means completely used up). Even at that rate, it’ll take me over 4 and a half years to go through these. It did continue to get frayed but still maintained the majority of its form. Still recommended (maybe even more so)!

These are fantastic for people with thick, curly hair. It’s hard to find elastics that fit properly and don’t destroy my hair in the process. These are a soft cloth, but sturdy and don’t overly stretch out after use. They fit perfectly on my wrist with no imprint left and I end up with very few hairs stuck to the elastic when I take them out. That’s something that is a major problem with most others and I end up having to throw them out frequently, because they look gross.
These are some of the best hair ties I’ve ever used and highly recommend them for anyone with thick hair!

This is a pack of 120 hair ties. I love that there are no metal bits on these that will snag my hair. They’re all nice and smooth and don’t leave marks on my wrists either. They hold my hair up and away from my face very well. There’s also enough here to last me a while. The price is also quite reasonable ($9.99 at the time of this review).

I have long, fine hair and traditional hair ties have a hard time holding my hair in place without also ripping it out when removing the hair tie. These are super soft, they’re stretchy, and they are all one piece, so there’s nothing to grab on the hair as you pull it out. I love that it comes with SO MANY! This will probably last me until the day I die, but that’s great as they do tend to get lost everywhere. Overall, really impressed with how soft they are and how easy they are on my hair. Would recommend.

First let me start off by saying this is a good set of hair ties! You get a bunch of hair ties that are top tier in quality. The elasticity is great and stretches well around my hair. I haven’t experienced any breakage so far. Never worry about losing hair ties again!!

These are so useful to have on hand! The hair ties are exactly as described. They come in 4 sets of 30. I have medium length curly hair, and these hold my hair well. My main problem with most hair ties is that they all eventually break at the seam – these are seamless so I don’t have to worry about that! The material is very soft – it almost feels like a stretchy t-shirt. I have used one a handful of times and so far it has maintained it’s stretchiness. Even if they stretch out a bit over time, I think they are still worth buying for the price. I would definitely recommend these.
