There are a hundred similar looking products and everyone has 4 and a half stars, and they all have about the same complaints, so reviews aren’t much help.
I can’t speak for those other competing products, but I’m happy with these, they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced and available overnight for free.

I’m a hairdresser and I love these scissors. Helps give a great cut. They have started to go slightly blunt but not that much and I feel like i can use them for at least a year before having to replace. But this isn’t an issue as they’re so reasonably priced anyway!

The scissors are super sharp and easy to wield. This is also my first time ever owning or using the texturizing scissors and I was able to fix one side of my hair with them the first time I used them. I would say the texturizing scissors are very forgiving because they don’t take huge chunks out of your hair, so you have peace of mind when having to fix your hair.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of these Shears. One of the barbers I work with uses a set that run $150 a shear, and side by side these compare very nicely.
The cutting edges are very sharp, and the blade of the shears have a nice taper instead of square body. They have very smooth action, and the tension screw has a very satisfying click when tightening or loosening. In person they look very nice, and they definitely don’t resemble other budget shears. The gold accented tension plate isn’t nearly as gaudy as I thought they’d be from the picture. I have fairly large fingers (size 9 wedding band) and the finger guards aren’t too tight. It’s a snug fit, but they’re comfortable to use. This kit didn’t include inserts, so if you have smaller fingers I’d definitely recommend ordering some.
For the price they are a very nice set of shears. You lose out on the lifetime guarantee and sharpening services other brands provide, but at a fraction of the cost that is a fine concession.
