I recently tried out a number of men’s hair styling products, trying to find the elusive “right” one for me. I have thick, longer hair, and I wanted something with good hold, low shine, that you can still run your hands through. I prefer a cream-style product as it is just easier to work with, and usually apply to damp hair out of the shower. Turns out to be tough to find the right product. Here’s my ranking, from worst to best:

Reuzel Pomade – thicker texture, nice scent (less musk and more minty – hard to describe but it’s very pleasant), hold is perfect and you can still run your hands through. Pretty expensive but it’s a 4oz jar vs. 3 oz for American Crew. The jar is like a big shoe polish can and can be frustratingly difficult to open. Sul capello ha un effetto semi lucido o semi opaco scegliete voi, a me piace moltissimo l’effetto, perché non è troppo lucido e neppure troppo opaco. After trying many hair products I feel this product tames my hair, dries quickly, and doe not look like a plastic product on my hair. It is NATURAL and makes my hair soft, but also keeps it in place. I threw out a couple of hair products after trying this one. I highly recommend it. There are too many hair products on the market in my opinion and I feel this is the one that makes more sense than the others that I have tired. It is an excellent vaule and has not scent. This is a plus!
