I needed to bleach about 4(?) inches of roots on half of my head for my split dye and it was basically the perfect amount of bleach. If you have 4 inches of roots on your whole head that need to be bleached you’re gonna need two bottles. I have light brown/blond brown hair and it lifted perfectly.

Level 20 will lift you 8 levels. Then tone – I use their Pearl hair color with level 10. Perfection!

I use this developer with the ultra bond lightener powder, for about 1.5 years now. However I’ve recently noticed a difference between purchasing here vs Sally’s – the developer I purchased from Amazon was very runny and thin compared to the one from Sally’s which was a much thicker, creamy texture. I know Age Beautiful says they sell at both stores but based on Amazon’s reputation with other beauty products and this recent experience, I think I may just stick to ordering from Sally’s now.
