It smell like old sweet cigarettes 🤣🤣🤣not a pleasant smell buuuut it’s all natural and it’s the way it was process so that being said I love the fact it is full to the brim, it’s rich and buttery smooth, moisture is there. This is pricey but if you look at how they process to obtain the oil, it’s a lot of work. So I trust that this is REAL BATANA OIL and not the cousin’s version to it that some people are selling that came from Africa or China.
Just a slight update on the usage again hair takes some time to show real growth, but the second picture is how much I use in one week on scalp and ends, on the body everyday. Tiny bit goes a very long way, I have medium thick 4a/b hair and my scalp does be so dry not with this its no longer dry or itchy very moisturized. I use it on my body as well and my skin feels so smooth, I only use it on my body at nights, I order a second container.

I had breakage,dryness, and my hair just wouldn’t grow. It has brought my hair back to lushness and health. At first it was a bit itchy (I t was doing its magic) which subsided quickly, I left it in 2 days, washed it out and discovered different texture and brilliant color! ( being a natural redhead, I was thrilled with this, there was no flaking which I was thrilled with. It does smell like coffee but I don’t mind that at all, and it subsides pretty quickly. I’ve only used it 3 times, and it’s filling in my thinning spots slowly but surely. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants quick effortless hair transformation for the better.

I was expecting more of a “grease” like consistency according to the description and reviews. Upon opening it immediately ran out the jar. The jar wasn’t filled to the rim as described either. It’s runny, with clumps in it, as you can see in the video. It spilled all over my white sheets (again I wasn’t expecting it to be runny so I opened it sitting down 🤷🏾♀️). I was going to try to refrigerator it and see if that helps, but I don’t think it’ll hold a more firm consistency either way, nor was the jar full. I believe I got a bad batch. I want the product that I paid for, so I’m sending it back. Hopefully the next one will be correct.

Yes it works. It smells so if you’re sensitive to smells, you might only want to use it as a deep conditioner. Both my daughter & I are adjusted to the smell and love the results so we can easily prioritize our results over the less than fragrant odor. But the results!!!
My daughter lost 40% of her hair a yr ago to severe scalp ezcema (+ a trip to St Martin’s beautiful yet salty water). We used other products with marginal success. I started using this product 2 months ago & I already see results. We use it twice weekly as a spot treatment along the crown & nape of her head, and deep condition with it twice monthly. Her locs are growing and more importantly, her edges and nape are recovering tremendously. We’re going to keep at it!! We like the texture (moist but not sticky), it leaves her locs moisturized but not weighed down. Her hair is drinking it up. Will repost after 2 more months.
