I suffer from pretty bad scalp psoriasis on the back of my head and this shampoo is actually really nice (in combination with other products) – I definitely see a difference when I use other shampoos with the other products I use, the smell is kind of herbally which personally I don’t mind at all especially because the shampoo itself is really nice

I have tried what seems like every clarifying shampoo on the market, and this is hands down the best. I used to have to shampoo my hair every day, but since using this, I can go every 2, sometimes 3 days, without shampooing. It’s a life saver! The smell is strange but not terrible.

Ryo has a distinctive smell, woody and I really like it. I have highlighted hair on the regular every 6-8 weeks, Ryo cleaned my hair, scalp without drying. I really love this product. Why buy luxury named shampoo when you can get better formulations and results?

This shampoo’s smell is straight up REPULSIVE. Fellow Asian person here so just in case you’re thinking, hey maybe it’s scents you’re not familiar with. I took one whiff and that was enough to have that immediate pull back reaction. I’ll try my best to describe that horrible smell:
Burnt plastic, chemical, herbal(not the good kind-more so the stale, dusty shriveled up kind), faintly of a sharpie marker and insecticide.
I’m not trying to be rude at all. I just want others to know and be aware before they buy this. I’m 40 and this is hands down the WORST shampoo I have ever smelled. I didn’t bother to return it because I thought it’d probably be a dumb reason to due to the smell? I don’t know, probably should have but live and learn I suppose.

I’ve only used it once so far but my experience was amazing. Its ability to clean hair is amazing my scalp felt so fresh after rinsing. My hair usually gets greasy the next day, woke up today with only a tiny bit of grease at the front. So it’s definitely going to help me not have to wash it so many times. The smell isn’t the most nice due to the ginseng in it but it doesn’t really linger on ur hair after. Only gave a 4 because I don’t know how it will suit using it for longer period of time

It has made a huge difference in the sebum build up on my scalp!! My hair don’t get super oily the day after it’s washed or nothing. And I have super thick hair.
The only downfall is it smells like raw jalapeños lol but somehow it amplifies the smell of my conditioner after using the shampoo that it just works. It’s weird lol but no burn no tingling or anything like that happens when using it either.
