Completely changed how I style my wigs. It’s much easier and way less time consuming to style my wigs now. Plus I no longer have to detangle wigs which is a huge pain. I use Arda wigs and Arda wigs can handle high heat.
Remember that if you’re not familiar with the wig’s tolerance, test small strands with it on low heat at first when trying to style a wig to make sure the wig you’re styling can handle the heat.

The crimping itself is good—it heats up quickly, and it works well for hair and cosplay wigs. I used it once or twice upon arrival, and didn’t use it again for a month or two. Today I tried to use it, but it wouldn’t work at all. Tried doing the things amazon recommended to fix it and nothing worked. UPDATE: the seller has reached out and sent a replacement. Great service.
I only saw one review mentioning this exact same issue, and I have absolutely no idea how or why this happened. No damage has been done to the crimper or its cord to make it stop working.

Bought this for a wig I wanted to style but after 3 hours of having it plugged in and trying to crimp and fibers I had only for there to be no signs of it holding at all I had to resign myself that it wasn’t going to work. The crimper was so hot on the lowest setting and I could barely press the button to change the setting because it was in such a rigid position.
It works fine as a flat iron since the crimp is so weak, but you need to wear a heat-resistant glove to even hold it.

I wanted the other crumpet that allows you to add volume to your hair but way out of my price range. I have never used to other more expensive one but this one does the trick and very affordable.

I’m soo glad crimpers are still available ☺️ I had a 80s prom murder mystery party to go to and so I was worried about finding a crimper. I found this one and it worked great! I dont use heat appliances or products on my hair except the occasional blow dry so I wasnt sure how my hair would take to the abuse.
I washed my hair and when it was halfway dry, I added a ton of mousse so #1, to protect my virgin hair and #2, to help the crimp to stay. I then brushed through my hair so the mousse was evenly applied from my roots to the tips (I have long hair). I then blew dried my hair without brushing it or fluffing so it was pretty stiff but straight. Then, without brushing it so my hair wouldnt poof out, I crimped my hair in sections. I just took whatever came in the section, it doesnt have to be perfect, and started at the top with the iron at the highest setting. I cruised through each section by squeezing firmly and feeling where the next section lines up. Took me about 30 seconds per section. My husband did the touch ups on the back where I couldnt reach… what a good sport! But it’s that easy!
Afterwards, I used my fingers to separate the sections to blend my hair. I could tell where I didnt get enough mousse because my hair was poofy. But it still turn out great and my hair was big! Just how I wanted it to be!!! I got lots of compliments on my hair and people reminiscing of when they used to use crimpers. Great night!!
This crimper seems like it will last a long time! And it has multiple settings for those that dont need it has hot.

Great crimper! Easy to use and looks great when finished. Heats up fast and has 5 different heat setting. Works great on straight hair but didnt do too well on very tight curls.
