Rave 4x Mega Hold Climashield (holds for 24 hours) is the best pump Hairspray on the market. It is very humid where I live and I have very curly hair that tends to frizz on humid or rainy days. This product is light but somehow keeps my bangs from turning onto an upturned “surfers wave” for 24 hours!

I am a retired hairstylist who for decades has used this hairspray in Lieu of the much more expensive brand-name ones. I wear my hair on the shorter side much like a modern shag but I need height on top for flattery to my face yet as my hair is very fine it needs help to keep it lifted on top and in place. What I like about this hairspray is that it does not weigh my hair down, it is not wet and heavy on my hair like many other hair sprays are. Also I like the fact that it is not sticky once dry and adds a bit of sheen to my hair. It washes out well, I always wash my hair twice when washing it And it never leaves a build up that other hairsprays can do which also will weigh the hair down. I find, though, it can be challenging to find. It is not in every store. I have found it at Walmart, occasionally at a dollar store but I order it online as it saves me from running around looking for it. It’s the only hairspray That I use. Highly recommend. I use the 4X hold for a decent hold, especially in humid weather. And still does not tend to weigh my hair down.

but would have preferred “UNSCENTED” like I ordered. The regular scent has a bit of an off putting aroma but the hold was what I wanted, light, not sticky and the price is acceptable. Hesitant about trying to order the “UNSCENTED” again but I might give it a try as my go to for years, White Rain Unscented Non Aerosol is no longer available except for at ridiculous prices.
Truth in American History –
I’m a guy who needs hairspray, or I’ll look like Don King. What I don’t need is a heavily scented, flowery hair spray. I am a guy after all. I’ve used a lot of hair sprays that work just fine, but they all have a heavy scent. Those marketed toward women have a more feminine scent, and those marketed toward men tend to smell way too chemically. When I bought this, I opened it up and took a whiff and was afraid it was going to be way too strong. But I was out of hairspray, so I used it anyway. It turns out, when you spray it, it has almost no scent whatsoever. That’s exactly what I was looking for. It holds great and doesn’t stink. What more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be ordering more.

I use this to set the curl in my pin straight hair when using hot rollers. It does exactly what is needed yet leaves my hair soft to the touch, I’m quite happy with this product.

This hair spray claims to be “unscented”. That is not true. It distinctly has a scent, and “fragrance” is clearly listed on the ingredients label.
