  1. tired cdn

Mancha muchísimo, solo con rozar, queda un color bonito que dura dos dias, a mi no me ha gustando mucho por lo que he dicho, mancha mucho pero la función la cumple

  2. Eleftheria V.p

Silver is beautiful. Great coverage. Works best for sleeked down hair. The gel stays somewhat wet/sticky so cant really fluff my hair. Nice product still. Washed out easy.

The color is fabulous. I’m a brunette and this gave me the PERFECT cowboy copper color. 10/10 looks like I got it professionally colored. Not much is needed to achieve the color pay off. I slept in a microfiber towel turban with the gel in on wet hair. It didn’t stain my bedding, didn’t stain my clothes. I did wait u Tim it was dry to put on work clothes just in case. But perfect.

Color aside, this gel performance was a knockout. No crunchy hair, no funky smell, no sticky hands afterwards. Hair doesn’t feel any different once dry. The weather on day one of use was a humid, rainy, midwestern summer day. I’d use this just as a gel on a regular basis. The color is just a wonderful bonus. My curl pattern is 2B-3A

    10/10
not an ad, and I never leave reviews but this needed it

I really liked it went on smooth and washed out easy very happy would like to see color light brown

  5. Judy yonan

I love this product. It gives my hair life with a pop of copper girl and covers my greys when needed.

This is my first time using this brand .. I got it last min for an event. The color is vibrant and pretty but it stains everything. Clothes, tub, skin .. The Kim Kimble brand gives the same results without staining and washes off anything that it gets on, easily.

Easy to use, however with thicker locs / hair it will be caked up and take a LONNNGG time to dry. i was under the drier for almost an hour which can make our hair pretty dry and it would still rub off on my hands. It can also get messy but for the MOST part it will come off/out easily but i recommend only washing it out in a sink because my shower needed a SCRUB and it also stained my body easily. Also with thicker hair when rinsing , yr not done until u squeeze all of it out. make sure you squeeze or you will be surprised when you see theres still some in there. The color was pretty and it gives you a glimpse of what you’ll look like before you decide on a permanent/semi permanent color. But personally, i feel as if its particularly for 1 day/night use: party, cosplay, etc. Soap and water gets it completely out so if its a hot day outside , id recommend just waiting until its cooler or it will drip and not come off till you get some soap/shampoo. haha. Maybe for ppl w finer hair who live in cooler areas its great, but for thicker hair n south heat not so much.

EDIT: Added a couple more tips I’ve found helpful in the application process.

Also, I’ve since tried purple and it was a massive fail. Did not show up in my hair at all sadly.

This curl color gel satisfies my itch for bright hair without the upkeep or damage of bleaching my dark coily/curly hair. It’s fairly easy to apply, dries in a reasonable amount of time, and looks gorgeous in and out of sunlight. It’s been a great way to make summer haircare more fun. I actually look forward to wash days because I know I’ll be playing with color 😁 So far I’ve used this color gel for a braid out+bun, medium “mini” twists, and a twistout. I plan to try a wash and go as well. I’m hoping to use this for Ren Faire and Black Fae Day since wigs aren’t my thing.

So far I’ve tried blue, gold, silver and mint. Blue is far and away my favorite color of the collection and has the best color payoff of all the ones I’ve tried. Gold was a bit of a fail–it washed my features out and looked more like mud in my hair. Mint was a bit disappointing too–since green cancels red, it looked dim and faded in my reddish brown hair.

Some colors transfer more than others. I’ve found blue to have the least amount of transfer; mint and silver transferred the most to me.

One con: I use a lot of product and my hair isn’t super long or exceptionally thick. I use at least half a jar of blue every time I style. If you have waist length+ hair, very thick hair or are on a tight budget, focus on applying this at the ends of your hair to stretch it.

There’s definitely a learning curve with this product, so here are my tips for best application and color payoff (for reference, I have average density, fine/medium strands and low to medium porosity BSL+ hair. My natural color is dark reddish brown.):

    1. USE GLOVES. Seriously. Especially if you tend to touch your face. The color washes easily with soap and water, but it’s still best to use protection when applying it. Yes, it’s a hassle when you want to mix colors, but you will be glad you did. Cover your nearby surfaces too, and wear an old t-shirt or something you don’t mind getting stained. I’d also recommend a towel or cloth around your neck/shoulders. I also use gloves anytime I touch my hair for the first day or so, since I’m heavy handed and more transfer happens for me on days 1-2.

    2. Protect your hairline, ears and neck with a thin layer of vaseline/petroleum jelly. This will make it easier to clean up any bits of gel that migrate.

    3. Apply to barely damp or dry hair. You will need more product vs applying to wet hair, but it will dry faster and have a better color payoff.

    4. For my fellow type 4 peeps–apply to stretched hair! It will make application easier and faster since this product is more of a pudding consistency.

    5. Top the gel with a mousse. Mousse will reduce transfer by “sealing” the color in and speeding up the drying time. Any mousse you have at home will work. If you’ve never tried that sort of product, The Doux Mousse Def and Camille Rose Naturals Spiked Honey Mousse are good ones to try.
This was a game changing step for me! Nothing will ever 100% reduce temp color transfer, but this will get you pretty dang close! Even the heavy transfer colors stay in place better with this approach.

    6. Dry and set with heat! You *can* air dry, but that will take a long time, especially if your porosity is on the lower end. I used my soft bonnet dryer (RIP that now-blue plastic lining) and my ionic hard bonnet standing dryer. I had best results with my ionic bonnet dryer. An hour under there (a few hours before bed) was plenty after styling on damp hair.

    7. Mix and match! I never use just one color; I combine them to create more dimension and show off my hair’s texture. Blue is nice on its own, blue and silver make a beautiful ice blue that I like to ombré. I’ve also mixed blue + mint, blue + mint + silver, blue + gold, and silver + gold.

    8. Enjoy and prepare for compliments 😁

It’s a really nice color but it gets EVERYWHERE

  10. Lena Coladaa

Easy to use and wash out. Perks up grey hair and curls

I really wanted to like this hair makeup, I’ve been exploring gentle ways to colour my curls and this was such a good price I had to try it.

But please, don’t waste your time and money.

It definitely *looks* really pretty, I’ll give it that – it’s probably the boldest colour I’ve seen from a product like this. BUT it gets everywhere. I mean, EVERYWHERE. Even after diffusing and styling and drying, this product will continue to transfer. I’ve used temporary hair colours before so I was prepared for a bit of mess and staying careful with my hair in the following days, but this was bad.

I’m talking marks everywhere, red on my hands, forehead, my clothes. And it stains. My clothes that I wore while using this are all damaged, and I’ve never had that be a problem with any other colour before. Even with transfer they usually wash out with a little soap and water, but not with this. I ended up washing it out the day after I put it in because I couldn’t take the mess.

Please just get Curlsmith’s hair makeup, or even Gemini Hues – yes they’re not as bold, but they smell really good and will save your clothes and sanity.

Bought copper and was satisfied, so went ahead and bought red: big mistake! Red runs wets AND dry

Ich habe eine allergische Reaktion bekommen. Und farbe sieht nicht gut aus.
