This product was easy to use at home, but the color didn’t completely cover my grays. I don’t have a lot of gray, so I thought this would do the job. It washed out very quickly and left my hair a little brassy especially in the sunlight. I will try something else next tome.

The product box came with plastic wrap in good conditions but the contents were no longer sealed. The color cream container was unsealed and looked old/dried up. There was color cream spilled on the box, the brush had color cream on it as if it had been previously used. So I was unable to use the product.

I’ve used Clairol Nice and Easy Root Touch Up for years – I only do my roots (greying) every 4-6 weeks as not to darken the rest of my hair. It works fairly well, just fades quickly. Still better than a standard box dye though since I do frequently, and like I said, I only do roots. I tried Natural Instincts on a whim. I think I will go back to Nice and Easy though. I liked that Natural Instincts seemed less harsh due to no ammonia. However, it did not fully cover my greys. I left on the recommended extra 5 minutes for resistant greys. Also the colour was much darker than expected. I use medium blonde in Nice and Easy, but medium blonde in Natural Instincts came out quite a bit darker. My hair looks better than before the dye job, but not as good as when I use Nice and Easy.
