The strips work good but they do not last as long as the original strips that come with the extensions. About 5 days and I’ve had to replace a few extensions due to the tape in lift and fall apart

I bought these to replace the tapes that came on my extensions. They are the same brand as the extensions so I wanted to stick with what came on them since they were so good. I had my extensions in for 4 weeks and they were still in super strong, I just wanted them moved up. The first 2 pictures are immediately after the new tapes were put in, the ones after are days before I took them out and replaced the tapes. To remove: I ordered glue off Amazon and used pure acetone to scrub the residue off the extensions. I washed the hair and let it dry overnight before replacing the tapes the next day. So far really loving all things googoo brand!

I’ve used loads of different tapes before and these are honestly horrendous, fine for about 2 weeks til the extensions slide down from the tapes. Leaves your hair permanently sticky!
Then when you come to remove them (I’m currently 2.5hours in and all the hair is out, but only 3 of the actual tapes are out!!) they just don’t budge, none of the solvents I have are strong enough! My partner is now spraying WD40 on my head and they’re still not budging! Honestly an absolute waste of money… don’t buy these unless you plan to end up bald!

These are good and last a while but I bought them assuming it would be as good as the original tape on the googoo extensions but it’s just not. It doesn’t last as long in the hair before slipping but it’s still good to have if you want to make your extensions last just a little bit longer after taking them out. They’re also good to carry around just in case an extension slips out or something.

I’m ordering these tapes again, in a bigger package. They do stay in & hold for WEEKS! Which is what we want, right? I’ve been wearing extensions for a couple years due to health issues causing my life long bleached hair to fall out. Most applications last me 12 weeks. I wash 2/3 times a week using dry shampoo most days. I lay my top piece on first, pick it up and apply the under side with the very little strands of natural hair it picks up, sandwiched in between. I then hold my flat iron on it for a few seconds then let it cool. Every 10 days or so I retap with heat to prevent slippage.
There’s the occasional slippage around the 4/5 week mark, but if you take care of them and tap the tapes with heat every couple weeks, they don’t slip too bad.
Wearing extensions for a couple of years, I’ve had my fair share of problematic tapes, if you know what to do, they’re not as damaging as others. I’ve had tapes/wefts that literally ate my bleached blonde/bad health hair to nothing! These don’t do that!
To the removing them! You use heat to apply them right? Use heat to remove them! Your literally smashing/melting the glue onto the few strands of hair you sandwich in between, right? What do u expect when your wanting to remove them? Of course it’s going to be a mess when u expect them to peel off like regular scotch tape does from plastic! I mean, if you want that, why waste your money?
All I do after 8-12 weeks, depending on regrowth, is tap with heat then peel them apart. I immediately use a fine tooth comb and comb the glue out. Repeating heat on my natural hair until the glue is out. I use a mixture I make of olive oil and rubbing alcohol to remove residue.
It’s a learning process! But leaving bad reviews because you aren’t doing it right is not cool. Your taking food off someone’s table because you aren’t informed or knowledgeable.

I love love love , they are tricky to take off but they are long lasting I have tried other brands and when I shower my hair extensions slip right off these don’t supper recomed

Do not buy these tapes or the Googoo hair extensions. Removal caused crazy amounts of hair loss. My hair was coming out in clumps and the tape turned black which I’ve never seen in the 10 years I have been wearing tape in extensions. I had to switch to clip in hair extensions because of the amount of damage the tape caused to my hair. Nothing dissolves this tape. Oil, alcohol, professional tape remover-nothing worked. Took over two hours to remove 10 extensions and I lost so much of my own hair. Normally I spray on the remover and the tape dissolves and the extensions slide out. Maybe a few strands of hair would come out. With Googoo, I lost all of the hair that was on the tape, plus the tape would get stuck and more hair would stick to it. I lost about a fistful of hair.
