Not loving this for a few reasons…
(Note: I bought this as a gift for my 11 year old daughter, but I tried it out first.)
1. I don’t like the look/ results, waves are too tight for my preference. I should have gotten a larger barrel, but I also just don’t like the “crimped”/ permed look- not natural looking.
2. It gets really hot, which could be a Pro for some people, but I think it’s dangerously hot. And most of all, the lever where you place your thumb to open the iron is barely insulated- only a small end part. My thumbs are not particularly huge, so it fits on there fine, but I guess I got a little hasty and reached my thumb too far forward to press it open and got burned a little. If it would have been my 11 year old daughter using this, I would have heard sobbing, as it could have been worse.
*I don’t think I’ll be letting my daughter use it by herself. Besides the risk of burning herself, I also don’t want her to burn her hair right off! The heat is very intense and not easy for inexperienced people (kids) to gauge based on the dial.
3. Finally, I don’t think it’s ideal for long hair, because it’s difficult to figure out where to clamp the waver down after the first and each consecutive wave. It might be easier if I was using it on someone and could look directly at I vs. looking at myself reaching above and backwards in the mirror. Maybe it’s just me, but I made some ugly looking kinks and uneven waves.
Overall, I think I should have just gotten a basic curling wand with hot glove, but I thought the waver would be more efficient. Learned some lessons- especially, beautifying medium long hair with natural looking waves takes time and precision.

I own another of these but a different brand and this one BLOWS it out of the water. Super easy to use and holds up. This is a full day of work. Normally my hair doesn’t hold any type of wave or curl but it did today!!! So happy with this! Heats up fast and works very well!

Love this! It is super easy to use (once you get the hold of it) I have VERY thin straight hair, and love that you set the heat level based on your hair type (there is a chart in the instructions suggesting how high).
I recommend this for anyone with fine hair!

Great and efficient product! The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the barrels are a smaller than I expected. I believe the barrels are 22mm so the waves are smaller and more prone to looking frizzy. So I decided to purchase a different waver that’s 32mm! If you want those big waves, I think you’re better off getting a 30-32mm barrel especially if you have hair longer than shoulder length. Otherwise, this is a great product! Very efficient! Heats up nicely but crimps your hair as opposed to waving it

I have shoulder length hair and everything about this product is simple to use it is extremely efficient it keeps the crimp and curl in for the whole entire day it doesn’t burn my hair and it is just absolutely 100% phenomenal. Finally found a fast and super easy way to get soft waves in my hair. Only problem I have is with the temperature dial, because it just keeps rotating around while I’m using it. Small inconvenience for a cheap and perfect wave!
