Washes out for a few days longer than other brands. Be very careful with application – removal from skin takes a few days, it stains very quickly. Other than that, an inexpensive and easy way to touch up roots and keep hair looking great. Could use more moisturizer, if you need a haircut your ends will look far more dead than necessary.

I decided rather than grow out my gray hair I would just buzz cut it off and start from scratch. Thought this would add some depth to my natural color as it grew in but it did not work for me – actually gave my hair a blueish hue. However, this product worked great on dyeing my eyebrows to match my now lovely gown out salt and pepper gray hair — so it was not a total loss.

I regularly dye my natural black hair darker black and I’ve used plenty of boxed hair dyes- this is definitely the darkest black shade I’ve used and will absolutely repurchase

I messed up and bought this hair colour. I usually use this brand but the more expensive one for the sensitive. I had heard this brand is really good for sensitive scalps and some comments did say it was good. For me personally it was not. Swollen itchy scalp and blistered ears. This is obviously no fault of the company, just my own sensitivity… just wanted to let people like me that have bad reactions to definitely not use this. They have a more expensive bottle of jet black that doesn’t cause reactions. 💜

This is the most absolutely beautiful hair color you will ever place on your hair! The downside is this hair color will stain to the extreme especially if you get it anywhere on your skin. Prepare for 3-4 days staining. It will permanently stain any paint or flooring so you must be careful and I suggest using some type of tarp or plastic everywhere near where you are standing coloring your hair. If you can bring this to your Hair Salon of your choice if allow it I would definitely do so… it is that beautiful of a color and you can faintly see the blue in the sunlight. My hair tends to pull towards all red colors however they have also a great selection of red but I decided to go back natural vegan and my hair thanked me for it! That being said, this hair color will damage your hair a bit so expect some frizzy ends and having to get a good trim. I wish they would carry this color in vegan semi-permanent!
