It is very sticky and the wax texture left on your hair isn’t the best. All over your hands and next day your hair feels clogged. However the colour looked fab on my hair. Just wish it was different

My very blonde son was very happy to darken his hair with the black hair wax so he can look like his favorite singer. Mom was happy that I could darken his hair and have the ability to wash it out. Start with a little at a time and work it through. We used more than needed at first and it took forever to dry.

This product was even better than I’d hoped for. I used the silver and white for a cosplay costume, and it was AMAZING. The best comparison I can make is that it has the consistency of icing that you would use on a birthday cake, which makes it easy to work with. Because it is so spreadable, you can really work it into your hair.
My hair is dark, almost black, and I have neon green tips. The second pic shows my natural color, so you can see the difference. The character I was playing has salt and pepper hair. The first pic shows the results on my dark hair, and the character I was cosplaying so you can see (Yeah, it’s way long. I started growing it out after covid in Feb 2020, and now I have long rockstar hair)
I did not want to use the color hair spray that you get at Wal-Mart or Spirit Halloween because it makes your hair crunchy. This product was not like that at all. I used just enough to tone my hair so that it had the look I wanted. It even masked my neon green tips. Once it was on, my hair was soft, but it also kept its shape (I wanted it to be kind of wavy). It smells great too!
It washes out like any other hair product. No trouble. Just some shampoo, and it was gone. No residue on my hands from applying it, none in the sink when I washed my hands after putting it in, and none in the shower after I washed my hair. It stayed on for the whole day and the entire next day too. I didn’t notice that it rubbed off on anything. When I slept with it overnight, it did not get on my pillowcase at all, which kind of surprised me. It did not come off on my skin when I sweated either, and I totally sweated because my costume was all a real leather biker jacket in 100 degrees summer heat.
My advice — Apply on wet hair. I wore this in my hair three days. The first day, I applied it with wet hair out of the shower, and the second day, I used it with dry hair. The application was easier and results better when I applied it on wet hair.
I don’t think your hair is going to be as brightly colored as the pictures show, but you will definitely have color. I don’t know about the other colors, but I was super pleased with the white and silver. I will use this in the future for other cosplay and even for some cool looks. I will probably try the other colors too. For the cost, it is a great product.

I sustained a significant injury about a week ago, and am still recovering. As a result I’ve been doing many things wrong today! Including a job interview :[ I suppose that’s neither here nor there. But I thought I had read the instructions for this correctly…apparently I did not. I felt like it was a bit challenging to apply, but that’s (probably) because I didn’t do it quite right. Even still, after experimenting a bit I found a way to make it work. I really didn’t use very much at all, and it lightening my dark blonde/light brown hair enough to make my roots less apparent. I’m pretty happy with the results I got. At first I was a bit disappointed because it wasn’t as easy or as bright and blonde as I’d hoped, but it really does a good enough job to help me achieve the general color/look I’m going for. Because my job is pretty demanding, I’ve gotten my hair routine down to an exact science. I don’t wash it every day because I like the messy/textured look. I use a hair cream mask almost every day (keeping in mind that I live in Arizona, dry arid climate and my hair just sucks it right up), and then I use a dry shampoo so that it’s not too oily looking. it turns out pretty nice and sexy. I follow this procedure for 3-4 days in a row before I do a full wash. I thought that mixing this wax with my hair mask might help to apply it more easily and make it look more natural. So I mixed a tiny bit of each together and it did work pretty well. I’m looking forward to following the actual directions to see if I get better results. I will add or modify the review if I have anytning of helpful to add later on. I know most people never actually do that but I promise I will. 🙂

Habe schulterlanges haar. 3a locken und das ist ungelogen mein bestes Lockengel! Ich hab wirklich teure Produkte im Schrank wie Sheamoisture, olaplex, cantu oder curly flaxseed… Ich trage nach meiner Haarwäsche ein leave in conditioner auf und dann das Silber gel. So etwa 2 Haselnuss große Portionen. Es ist wasserlöslich und daher sehr gut zum einarbeiten. Danach kommt das stylen mit meiner lockenbürste. Das verteilt die Produkte nochmal gleichmäßig. Mit dem Diffusor oder luftgetrocknet. Die locken sind definiert, weich und voluminös! Mein braun blondes ombre Haar hat ein schönen Glanz und ist aschiger bzw anti gelb.
Am nächsten Tag kann ich es ganz leicht reaktivieren mit einem wasserspray und evtl bisschen gel in die spitzen kneten.
– Es färbt in der kleinen Menge überhaupt nicht. Verleiht nur ein Glanz und anti Gelbsucht
– Es hinterlässt Flecken auf jacken und Kragen
– Im trockenem Haar vorsichtig einarbeiten sonst gibt es ungleiche Flecken und für intensive Farbe eher für kurze haare.
– Würde es ausschließlich nur ins nasse Haar einarbeiten und wie gewohnt stylen.

It definitely made my hair green. I didn’t like the texture of it at all, felt like styling my hair was going to snap it off because the wax is so thick but I guess that’s to be expected with a wax. It did stain my hair about but cleaned up easily out of my bathroom. It’s worth noting that my hair is platinum blonde and extremely porous. So it might stain white clothing? I’ve only washed my hair once though so I’m hoping that green streak will come out 🥴

Ich hab dunkelblondes langes Haar. Für Fasching wollte ich etwas anderes.
Grau und Blau bestellt.
Haare feucht gemacht, graues Wachs verteilt. Überall und sehr viel. Mit den Fingern verteilt. Ja das macht ne riesen Sauerei.
Danach bin ich mit Blau überall darüber, wo ich eben blau haben wollte.
Und dann hieß es,laasaange Föhnen. Ich hab mit dem Haaransatz angefangen. Kühle Temperatur beim Föhnen. Und dann direkt mit dem Föhnen das Styling angefangen. Es ist und bleibt ein Wachs. Dementsprechend fühlen sich die Haare an. Aber mal ehrlich, was erwarte ich auch von einem Wachs? Niemals weiche frischgewaschene Haare.
Ich bin super zufrieden. Für meinen gewählten Anlass – jederzeit wieder!

Got this for my Chucky costume in lieu of a wig for cost saving purposes. I’m a brunette and not sure how much the color was going to come through based on other reviews. When I first put it on, I freaked out as it looked totally yellow due to the lighting in my bathroom. Was determined to go get a wig instead but due to weather and time restraints I just went with it. I added a little more color and used the blow dryer as the instructions said and just left it alone. Went outside to have a cigarette with my husband and he was like the color looks great, he took a picture and sure did. I thought it was perfection! The lights definitely play a role on what the color looks like. I posted different pictures for reference. It’s also somewhat shimmery but only noticeable on your clothes and hands. It did rub off a little bit on my coat but I was able to wipe it off with a damp towel. I had to use a crappy pillowcase to sleep at night as I was to lazy to shower afterwards and glad I did as the pillowcase was completely orange the next day. Wishing it off was fairly easy though all things considered. I just shampooed twice. I only used less than half of the container and I have long hair. I event applied it on my eyebrows with no problems. The only minor complaint I have is that it doesn’t come with instructions but I found them on the amazing product info. I totally recommend this product.
