Great for short hair, not recommended for long thick hair. Bristles are soft to medium that feel good on the scalp. Good looking quality.

I’d used a cheap plastic brush since the las millennium. Finally I gave myself a gift of a new brush. Actually got two, this and another cheap plastic brush to use only in scrubbing during washes.
This boar bristle brush glides through my long hair; I gave up getting barbered for the pandemic and now it’s geezer-ponytail time. It doesn’t root out as many strands, and feels very pleasant.
It does NOT look or feel cheap, and I might have willingly paid double or more for this in another store.
The merchant also included a nice little rake that combs out the strands left in the bristles.
All in all, I’m highly satisfied.

I’ve had a few different boar bristle brushes and this is by far the best I’ve had. I’ve always had issues with bristles falling out or being super stiff and scratchy with poor handle design. This brush though the bristles are just stiff enough where it doesn’t feel scratchy, the bristles as of yet have not fallen out, the shape of the bristles and the handle is perfect for my hands I typically wear L-XL gloves. I use it for both my hair and beard, highly recommend this brush.
