This stuff is absolutely amazing. I have wavy curls and this has the perfect amount of hold and actually leaves my curls bouncy and super soft. I loved it so much I just bought the sample lineup to test out the cleaner and conditioner. If this leaves me hair soft I can’t wait to see what the conditioner does. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Plus the ingredients are high quality and you’re supporting a small business.

Orange marmalade is unlike any other product out there. This is why like a curl cream and gel combo. It has great hold, it smells incredible, it gives a frizz free soft defined yet full of body look to my curls and waves. I absolutely recommend this to anyone with wavy or curly or coily hair!

I waited and used this several times after shampooing before drawing a final conclusion. I’ve tried this for 4-5 weeks. If it were not beyond the return window i would send it back. I have shoulder length 2B hair that has lost some wave and curl as I’ve grown older and I wanted to encourage the wave again. So I switched shampoo and conditioner at the same time I tried this “gel”. Therefore I did not know what the cause of poor results were until yesterday when I used the new shampoo and conditioner WITHOUT Orange Marmalade Curl Definer gel with GREAT results!! (Even generating several compliments on my hair at a get together). This gel made my hair look dull, did NOT encourage curl or wave. I tried using different amounts of it after hairwashing (as in very small amounts to generous) with equally undesirable results. The ONLY thing it may have done is possibly(?) add a bit of volume … but I have good volume already so not even sure about that. I mainly wanted this to give me some curl boost and make hair look healthy. This it did not do at all. Just using my new shampoo and conditioner with no gel got me great results-and without the cost! Also, unfortunately, no pleasant orange smell at all to this product (the name in that regard is also misleading). Will not buy this again and I would not recommend (at least for anyone with my hair type).

I liked the product, smells nice and controls frizz. It also forms curls well. That said I will have to try it a second time. It seems better for thick hair I have thin fine hair, but it didn’t overwhelm

I believe this product is for people who wash their hair frequently because the flakes take over on day 2. And the end product is very crunchy.

This stuff is liquid gold. I’ve got long fine hair with multiple curl and wave patterns in it. I’ve tried many many products to combat frizz while adding definition without weighing my hair down. I have found my forever product here and it’s eco-friendly which is a big bonus, though honestly I’d use any product if it delivered these results. My curls have definition but are still soft and touchable. The scent is light and not overpowering at all. I love the simple packaging. And the price point is beyond fair. I really recommend this product if you have wavy or curly but fine hair, you won’t be dissatisfied.

No. 1, the packaging is wonderful. You can get every last bit of product and you’re not left with a wasteful plastic bottle. I wish more companies would adopt this.
No. 2, the product works great! I have very fine, long hair. Left to its own devices my hair is a wavy frizzy mess. I’ve tried dozens of products, this is the best so far.
I put it in a spray bottle with 5/1 ratio water to gel then spray generously over soaking wet hair, scrunch with t shirt, and diffuse. Results are lovely big bouncy coils. Well defined curls and cuts the frizz without weighing my fine hair down.
I’ve tried scrunching it straight into my hair and it sets a cast so darn fast my fine hair can’t properly form curls, just waves. So I figure it would work great full strength for anyone with thicker, more defined curls.
Now I’m off to browse the rest of their products!!

This hair gel/cream is really good for curly hair. My hair is more of a loose curl curly. But I always need some type of gel or cream to keep it frizz free and contain my curls. This one has been great. A little goes a long way I learn that when I first purchase, I spray a bit of water to it, I add a dab to the palm of my hand and then spray some water and I mix it well with my hands and distribute through my wet hair and that does it for me. I do split my hair in two and repeat on the other side. I really do not use a lot and when it dries my hair is so pretty, curls are flowy, and has shine and look and feel great. This will last you a long time if you use it moderately. great product!
