The shampoo bar is great. Not really much of a scent. The conditioner bar, however, worthless. No matter how much water I put on it, I can’t seem to get anything from it. It does nothing. I can rub it and rub it between my hands, on my hair, etc. and nothing. Very weird.

I was a little unsure after the first use. I have long permed hair. The shampoo works great. No overwhelming fragrance and plenty of lather. After the conditioner my hair didn’t feel like it normally does. But to my surprise the comb slipped right through my wet hair. It’s not the usual slimy conditioner you are used to using. Every time I use the product my hair is more soft and shiny. Stick with it and you will be impressed.

This shampoo is lightly scented, ginger and turmeric. It lathers beautifully, the shampoo felt silky and luxurious and did a great job cleaning my hair quickly. If you are thinking of switching from bottled shampoo to bars, this is a great one to start with. The price is good too!

I’ve tried alot of different shampoo and conditioner bar brands over last 2 yrs and by far this brand instantly was a jaw dropper. It blew my mind with quality for it’s price. The ingredients alone are great. But OMG the instant gratification with these was outstanding. The shampoo bar suds up super nice and when you scrub and rinse, you can feel the next level of clean. But then the conditioner bar that so many of the reviews are bad mouthing I can say they truly just haven’t figured it out. Some brands specially the higher quality ones like this one have figured out ways to make the bar where it last longer hints why you get 2 shampoo bars to 1 conditioner bar but also the ultimate trick is to run the bar through your hair under the water then run the bar and you hair through your hands in sections while scrubbing the hair with the bar to get the product in real good. My hair had never felt so silky smooth. I worked in the conditioner bar then let it sit in my hair for like 3 mins before rinsing. I felt like a dang hair model when I got out of the shower last night. And huge Bonus my 2 autistic kids who have super sensitive noses both said my hair smelled and felt amazing. So this purchase is definitely a win for me!!! Hope this review helps someone else fall in love with this brand like I did because it really was a mind blowing experience even after trying tons of other brands ranging in all kinds of price ranges.

Shampoo bar lathers instantly unlike most shampoo bars so a little goes a long way. Fragrance is a plus and gives you a much healthier shine than leading cheap shampoo.

To preface, I have long, very thick hair. My hair is naturally wavy/curly and is usually hard to manage. In an effort to replace all of the plastic in my shower, I have started switching to bar everything. So far, the shampoo is fantastic! It gets super sudsy and smells really nice. It’s not overly strong smelling, which I appreciate. It makes my hair feel very clean. It was also SO easy to travel with!
Now, the conditioner leaves quite a bit to be desired for my very thick hair (hence the docking of one star). It does work to a degree, but not to the degree that I need it to. I have to supplement with a deep conditioner to get the desired level of conditioning and detangling that I want. On the plus side, it smells really good and it works great as a shaving cream alternative (which is all I use it for now). Overall, highly recommend the shampoo bar. I will buy it without the conditioner bar from now on.

I think it’s honestly pretty nice shampoo and conditioner. I agree with other reviews saying the conditioner bar doesn’t lather or soften very well but after i shower I put in a leave in so that doesn’t matter too much to me. The smell kinda gives like peppery undertones more than ginger but I don’t smell that in my hair when it’s dry. For 10 dollars though it is a pretty solid product

I was pleasantly surprised to run my fingers over these bars with water and see the magnificent suds bubble up profusely. My hair felt incredibly clean and I barely had to use any. Minimal effort, maximum result, and minimal carbon footprint. Plus, they smell amazing and are a decent price. As soon as my other PLASTIC BOTTLE shampoo/conditioners run out, I will NOT be replacing them. I’ll stick with these little yellow PacMan discs. Can’t wait to try the other scents.
