I wear my hair in a bob haircut. This brush is just perfect for blowing out my hair. It gives me the slight bend at the bottom of the strands that I want. The brush is very lightweight and sturdy. The brush allows just the right amount of hair dryer air to come through the vents as I’m styling it.

This is a really nice styling brush at a very good price. It is perfect for my styling needs.
    5 Stars!

The SHINLEA Small Round Hair Brush for Short Hair works well to dry and style my short hair. For the price, it is a good substitute for my usual hair brush brand, which is twice the price. The two brushes are very similar and work equally well. My usual brush is made of sturdier materials and may last longer, but the Shinlea brush does an equally good job right now. It is an especially good choice if you are trying out different brush types or hairstyles and are not quite sure which size/style brush you need, are on a budget, or want a brush for travel.

This barrel size worked well for blow drying shorter hair. It is a lot lighter than other round brushes I use. Still trying to figure out if I like the lightness of the brush though.

One thing that I thought made the brush seem cheaply made though is that a lot of the holes don’t have bristled. See my photo. You can see that many of the holes on the top row are empty.

This is a nice brush and it is very lightweight, maybe too lightweight IMHO, it did a good job on my hair today and I am picky when it comes to my brushes since i still rock, very well i might add, the 1980’s poof, so this did pretty good at achieving that, but how long this brush will last is another story, I still have a round wooden brush that I got from Merle Norman back in 1995 and it is the best brush and I refuse to let it go, it gets cleaned and it is still going strong, but I know this one won’t last that long nor do I expect it to, but I wonder if it will make it a year. While it did a great job, it just felt very light in my hand and I was not a fan of that, it made it feel a bit on the cheap side, but that is the only negative , otherwise, I could be in the minority on that, everything else seems to be ok, although those types of bristles seem to come out also after a while too, so time will tell.

I am very impressed with this roller brush. I like to have a variety of barrel sizes to choose from. This is a smaller size that I like to bring height to my shoulder length hair. It is light weight when using with my hair dryer. Very happy with the results!

I was shocked at how lightweight this brush is, which is a great benefit when using it for styling purposes as it does not exhaust your arm. The bristles are very thin and generous and grab the hair well and the overall construction of the brush makes it easy for air to pass through. It feels fairly sturdy and well made and I think it will last a good while. All in all it does its job and does it well so would recommend.

This brush, in my opinion, is excellent for longer hair or smoothing short hair. It is so easy to use. You don’t need a lot of skill to use it. The bristles grab and hold the hair nicely for nice control. The aluminum barrel is large and seems to allow the hair to dry faster. The size is nice for home use or, as I plan, to take it when you travel. Add to this it is very pretty. It’s a good purchase.

My scalp is pretty tough but the bristles felt scratchy when I used this brush. Someone with a tender scalp may find it really uncomfortable. The brush is lightweight and with openings to allow air to flow through, I found that my hair dried faster than usual. This is not the only brush I will be using, but it is a good addition to my hair care drawer.
