The pick helps separate hair. I use it on my daughter’s jungle thick hair & mine.
The other hair pick combo tool’s teeth are not as sturdy as the plastic use to be. Warp easy this time. I generally prefer Cricket’s quality. But time changes & cheaper plastic is used, I guess.
I’ll take care of the pick so I won’t buy another set.

The shorter and wider style of the two hair lifts is impossible to find on line or in major brick and mortar stores. Goody company made them for decades, but when white women no longer went to the salon to have their hair washed and set, and began straightening their hair, Goody stopped making them. Never mind us textured chicks with natural waves, curls and coils who embraced, and dare I say, loved their natural hair. That style of hair lift works phenomenally for breaking up hair clumps while still maintaining your beautiful curl. 10 times better than using your hands. You’ll find leftover Goody brand hair lifts on eBay for anywhere from $15 to $50. This prompted me to reach out to Goody twice recently, especially since women are straightening their hair less, and even getting perms. Crickets! Anyway, it’s wonderful, my hair is beautiful & I gave away the long one.
