These pins work really well with my medium-thick hair in a bun. I only need three, sometimes four to secure my bun, and they stay in without feeling like they’re about to fall out. I have fine hair and was a bit worried that they would slip out, but they haven’t. They are not flimsy or bendy and I love the little bumps on the ends, which I guess, help to keep them in. I would definitely buy them again, but with 100 in the box, I probably will never need any more.
